All of the boys should get a chance to play in the games just not practice. How are they going to learn if they just sit week after week on the bench. Not to say what that does to there self esteem. As a guest coming with the rival school, I honestly felt the racism, weird stares, side talks, and discrimination against us colored people. To put it into perspective for everyone of how WE ALL FELT AS A TEAM: Like we were part of a zoo and being looked at as some sort of out of planet beaning. To begin with they charged our varsity team $10 to play, didn't allow our cheerleaders to enter through the main football entrance and instead were told to go all the way around the back through the rocky little path with all the dirt, when we could have easy walked down the steps and around the field. As a form of hiding us. Then throughout the night when our athletes had to use the restroom, they were told to use the porta potty on the dark side of the field or stopped by Santana students saying, "hey you can't use our bathroom go over there". Even during half time when trying to check out the food options Santana students would show rude gestures and purposely blocking our athletes. I would confidently even say their refs for the night was also racist and showing lenience with Santana players but showing no mercy to our team. Not only did I see this... Also parents on the stands. As a guest there I can say I truly am disgusted with Santana High School.

Additionally, when I brought up the extreme heat to the school They only attempted to defend their position instead of saying they were going to change the way they were doing things because it was at risk of the children. I also saw children covered head to toe in mosquito bites, and they seemed to refuse to take the children inside when the bugs were swarming. They just shrugged it off. My son is a little rough and tumble. When he's tired, he can be a little handy. They unenrolled him without having a conversation with us first. They just sent a crappy email with a terrible letter with no phone call. Terrible way to run your business. I don't know if I can trust these people again. I would not recommend the school to anyone under the current leadership.

This place has Exceeded all expectations. The playground is CLEAN! they are constantly switching out the toys so they kids have new activities every few days. They are CLEAN toys and they get washed. they have Kleenex boxes, hand sanitizer on hand. The best is they have mini bathrooms for the kids. the toilets are lower to the ground, and they teach potty training. The teachers are super friendly and take the time to understand your child's needs. Whats even better... they take care of all snacks and meals for you. its part of the program!! Yes no more trying to figure out each day what my little one is going to eat. The price is reasonable and worth the wait list to get into the school. They do chapel once a week and my son is always so excited when he gets to go into the BIG ROOM. I recommend this place.

This school is a gem. The teachers here genuinely care about their students and go above and…read morebeyond their duties. In the younger grades especially, there was so much creativity from the classroom layout to the activities themselves that I have never seen in any other school. The children in both general education and special education classrooms are given the attention and encouragement they need to achieve to the best of their abilities, and the school makes a strong point of, even in the elementary grades, reinforcing the idea that the kids there are all college-bound and headed for success. As an aside, on the first day when I arrived and saw all of the pep rallies, the pets in the classrooms, and one class who had gone on a fieldtrip to Legoland that day I thought, Wow, if I were a kid, I'd want to go here! After 5 months of close interaction with the students and teachers "behind the scenes," my opinion on that, both personally and professionally, has remained unchanged.
