I make all my own food from scratch so I need lots of herbs and spices. They have plenty!! I also want to avoid crowded stores so this is perfect. I can find everything I need. They carry a wide variety and decent volume of fresh cut meats, ground pork (for making Vietnamese Spring Rolls) , ground beef, chops, steaks, pork loins, etc... numerous ethnic items and sauces, a wide variety of dry Chili peppers, fresh beans, fruit, and plenty of cheeses They carry Fairlife milk and Coconut Creme creamer (out everywhere else in town) which I use for making homemade yogurt. They're open 7 days a week but I'd recommend avoiding it on Sunday bc of all the parents and kids shopping for school lunches and the week's dinners. Any other time is great. I feel very comfortable in TJs bc it's NOT too big and overwhelming plus I think most prices are reasonable. I only go to the big stores to get the items TJs doesn't carry. They have a very pleasant return policy if you're not satisfied with anything.
