If you like sweet wine, then you will love their wine, but I do not want sweet wine. He decided to do the flight but did not care for any of the choice choices. We tried the rosé and it was the sweetest rosé I've ever had. We tried Grenache. It was not good. We tried their Merlot..no! We tried Syrah...no! For Heated Rivalry night they had projections on a screen that you couldn't even see, not sure this is so much the Ritz's fault or the people putting on the event but still. They have a bar and the bartenders are cool, they don't have any sort of menu though so you gotta know what you want and some of them are a little less patient. It's DTSJ so parking is never fun, be prepared to have to pay or drive a bit to find a spot on the street.

The bouncer to the left told them to be quiet but they didn't listen. They had been distracting for most of the show but I wish the workers took it more seriously. There were many of us that kept gesturing for them to keep quiet and nothing changed. If they didn't listen to the bouncer and it kept happening, they should have just kicked them out. This kind of dampened my experience since there is no management for the experience so if I'm going to go to a show and people can just do whatever, then I'd rather not go. I'll pass on this venue.

It was so good that I ordered a second. Although this tasted amazing and all, my only gripe about the food was that there wasn't any variety. The bar area had limited types of alcohol as well. They only sold wine, Sierra Nevada Pale Ale, White Claw, and Coors. There was a second bar located at the bottom of the hill where the stage was located, and it had similar selections. All seating at this venue was general, because it's basically one big grassy hill. With that said, you'll want to bring a low lawn chair and/or blanket and then find your spot on the grass. There was a dance pit right in front of the stage, and anyone could go down to it. I was impressed by how good the sound was especially for an open venue. We were sitting towards the top of the hill for the most part and were able to hear the singer clearly. The venue itself was pretty. I loved seeing the rolling Hollister Hills in the background behind the stage while the sun set and casted beautiful colors. There was also a clear night sky, so looking up to the stars and the Harvest full moon while rocking out to some favorite classics was truly romantic.

One of the security's pushed me hard unexpectedly even made me drop my phone out of my hand when I tried picking up my phone from the ground, the security guard behind the fist one pushes me again, making assumptions that I hit the security and then proceeded on pulling my friends hair all the way outside while pushing me outside as well.
