I would give them a 1, but I do love the staff. I have been coming here for a long time and Im sadly going to be looking for a new salon. It seems that the quality of care has been declining. Or Tyra just hates me. I spend almost 2-3 hours here just for my nails to be dipped. My nail artist gets up so many times during a session that it takes longer than it should. I am deeply saddened that someone who has been doing my nails for a year would let me leave her chair looking like this. These are absurd. I drove to another salon from there. Walked in. Showed them my nails, and they fixed them on the spot. The woman who fixed them, could not believe how bad these were. Very low quality work. Very disappointed.

They were amazing quick to greet me and get me seated. I went on a Labor Day holiday and sorta beat the rush as many people came in after me. I was happy with their social distancing and staff wearing masks, lots of sanitizing products around, and plexiglass between the technicians and clients at the manicure stations! While my pedicure isn't really smooth (I think the woman just didn't seem as confident as she could have with painting, the pedicure treatment was awesome, and my dip turned out perfect! I'll be back! P.S. they definitely take walk ins and are huge, which is convenient as I don't always plan ahead.

    Terrible pedicure.

Oh boy.... this place is THE WORST! Unsanitary practices, they talk on the phone (in Vietnamese) the entire time they're doing your nails, unprofessional personalities and when you leave, your nails look like #¥!%€#! PLEASE... I beg you, go to any other nail salon in the 515!

Middle finger has a weird crease in it.

Price was fair - $40 for gel. I had to ask multiple times to have nails formed better and actually ended up doing more myself in the car before I even left the parking lot. 3 stars because I took the risk stopping in on impulse but I won't return.

Notice how lopsided the middle nail is

I went in there by myself to get an acrylic full set. It was pretty dead in there and They didn't really notice when I walked in. After they did notice me, I got a chair right away. While my nails look pretty good the shaping could have been more even. So I got a coffin shape on my nails and they are lopsided. It was pricey so I expected a little better. Also no one talked to me other than to ask what I wanted. I guess she did tell me how she cut herself earlier that day but I didn't even know her name until she wrote it down for me to pay. I'm a pretty bubbly person and the lady made it a little awkward. That being said my nails are pretty good. I think it would have been better if I brought a friend. Based solely on my nails I would give it a 4/5 but because I didn't feel like people were very friendly I'm giving it a 3/5.

I've gone here twice in the last month to get shellac for my nails. Both times I had the same lady do my nails. The first time my nails were even and shaped very well and they lasted almost 3 weeks even though she made me bleed while cutting my cuticles. It hurt enough that I physically whole body flinched. Then she proceeded to comment to every coworker about how much I was bleeding. Overall not a terrible experience. I went to get a fresh shellac done two days ago. It wasn't busy (both times I'd made an appointment with my friend) but the same lady was very pushy about picking colors. Then before my friend had even shown up and I'd solidified my color choice, she tells me to come sit by some other lady. I explained that I had a friend coming and would like to sit at a table where we could be next to each other. She said my friend wasn't here yet so she was going just going to start. Not a good start. Then when directing me to move or switch hands she was push my hands away from her unkindly and when I misunderstood where to put them and put them in the soapy water (which was the direction she had nudged them too) she got really irritated with me. After that she shaped my nails and again I some reason had a parade of her coworkers coming over to her and looking at my hands while I was talking to my friend. Well, my friend told me after that one of the guys there had started to touch my hands while I wasn't looking (I thought it was her). Ummm... weird? Then, she gets mad at me and in a rude tone of voice tells me to stop moving my hands because she can't work. (I'm sorry that I laughed a little and shook a bit, but jeez.) after all was said and done I noticed that my right hand (the one that I was supposedly moving) looked amazing and my left hand nails were uneven and super thick in some places. I Henry Home and had to use my file to smooth out some really rough spots and use a clear coat to make them shine because my left hand looked very dull in comparison to my right. I'm sorry but that's a bit ridiculous. Fast forward to today and this happened! (See picture.) the corner pulled up and the whole nail peeled off! And the kicker?? There was still wet polish underneath! Needless to say, I will not return here.

Recently had nails done and they lasted only 5 days with a gel manicure. There should be better attention to cuticles so manicures last longer than a few days!!!

Brand new salon. Very professional and hygienic. Many options to customize your experience to match your budget.

My nails look horrible and they're very expensive. All different shaped and look grown leaving the salon.

Too expensive. $130 for a mommy daughter, before tip. Anywhere else I pay between $90-100. Good service but way over priced.

I have been coming for a massage monthly for some time now. Over two years of monthly membership. I…read morealways look forward to my massages. I am doing another update considering what recently happened. A month ago I had an appointment. I got a call from Spavia that my masseuse was not going to be able to make the appointment. We were able to set up a quick appointment for that weekend. That day came around and I got a call a couple hours before the appointment. The new masseuse had an emergency was wasn't going to be able to make it. This wasn't the norm and they were happy to offer additional changes to try and make up for the situation. It was really nice for them to offer the options that they did. They say this doesn't happen often and felt bad. Here is the normal massage breakdown. Warmed massage tables call my name on a cold Iowa evening. Darkened hallways start to set the mood. Electric candles line the floor to help guide you to where you need to be. Once you are in the locker room you can change into your robe and slippers. This is not required with every service they offer. You have your own locker which you set the lock. They have 2 little curtained off changing rooms. The wall hooks have broken over time, but if I can I just use the roomy bathroom to change. Once you have all your personal items locked away you can step into the lounging area. 4-5 different places to sit. Electric fireplace on the wall. Some books, gentle music, little water fountain. All the things to help you relax. They have warming neck wraps and hot water for tea. If you are early enough for your appointment, then take advantage and chill. When your time comes you get called back. My personal preference is one individual for body massages. I have to book months in advance to make sure I am getting him. I dont want to share, but its Eddy. He is amazing. He listens to me and remembers my preferences. After heavenly treatment you are escorted back to the lounge. You can hang out and decompress or you can head out. As of my last visit in Sept '24 they just updated the furniture in there. It is not really comfy as before. I have tried another service here, but prefer my monthly membership booking a massage each time. Read less

The gloves she wore irritated my skin. Her hands shook, like she was scared to touch me. They obviously have an esthetician doing body work, instead of a massage therapist. She never even touched my lower back or glutes and she accidentally poked my vagina twice during draping. The company called to say they would like to make it up to me, but when I called back the manager was out so I left a message and she never called back. Avoid this place.

Beware: Owner Doesn't Keep Appts & The 1st Yelp Review Is By The Owner!…read more I booked with the owner after purchasing a Groupon, as I wanted to ensure the anti-aging facial was done properly. The owner Porsha moved my appointment under someone with less experience with even asking me. The new person was warm and had a professional manner yet based on my reaction to the facial, she lacked in skills. Hence why I booked the owner, to ensure it would be done correctly. I reached out to the owner with my symptoms of redness, itchy dry skin, and swelling and asked her to cancel my follow-up appointment, I'm to work from home this week and seek additional dr visit for care of symptoms. Porsha responded blaming it on my skin or pollen. She stated that she blocked me from further booking appointments because I questioned if her staff was licensed? Yet the only plaques in the room for licensing were hers. The main reason why I gave her 1 star is that she was blaming, defensive and rude. She offered zero empathy or tips on dealing with complications post treatment. Beware and always pick a licensed establishment when doing facials. Your face deserves the best care!
