Very nice Rodizio style restaurant in Lagoa, a nice quieter area of Rio. There is a kids play area upstairs which is a nice touch so moms and dads can stuff our faces in peace.
The buffet includes anything you can imagine, including Sushi. The meat was delicious, especially the Picanha. We went for dinner and asked for a menu, yet they stated there wasn't one for dinner and really the only option was the all you can eat Churrascaria and buffet. Which was fine, although we only knew that lobster was an option after seeing another table get it brought to them! So of course we asked and got it; it wasn't something they were just bringing around to everyone...which does make you wonder what else are they hiding back there! A menu at least showing the cuts and other options would have been nice.
Service was excellent to the point where we almost wanted the servers to let us relax a bit more- even with our tokens on red, they kept coming and you kind of have to say yes because the meat on the skewer was all hot and ready to go.
We knew this, but be aware dessert costs extra. We got 5 different desserts for our group and the brigadeiro chocolate cake was possibly the best chocolate cake I've ever had. Super rich and delicious, and we were practically traumatized when there was a miscommunication and they took it away rather than wrap up the last bit of it for us to take home :(
Overall an excellent rodizio and we would've gone back if we didn't want to try a million other places during our stay in Rio! read more
