Shannon was referred to us by my brother and sister in law who used her a few years back. There is…read morea bit of a backstory before we landed with Shannon. We had originally tried to start our living trust through law insurance that was supplied by work. The first company we worked with seemed fine but then before we could finish the process, withdrew from the insurance coverage. The second firm started off okay but then we started realizing as we were asking for more detailed customization that they just wanted to fill in the standard template blanks and move on. A lot of the work was handled by staff other than the lawyer and only when we had a more specific question did we get to speak with the lawyer who kind of discouraged us from being so detailed. There were also some typos in emails from the lawyer that just made us raise an eyebrow. We went back the first firm and were willing to pay full price but then got the vibe from the lawyer that templates were very standard and we should not make things so detailed either. Apparently trust mills work this way and they just want to churn you out quickly without really sitting down to address all your questions and specifics and needs or walk you through the legal wording. I felt really lost for a bit and a bit gaslit into thinking we were overthinking our living trust until we talked to Shannon who understood how frustrating it was and made us feel like we definitely COULD customize some things more. We decided to go with her even if it meant paying out of pocket because she took the time to understand our needs and wishes and walked us through all the different parts of the documents in our estate planning. Right from the beginning, she didn't pressure us to use her services and was very kind, patient, and helpful once we hired her. Her documents were organized and we had a few meetings and drafts before meeting in person to sign. Shannon was responsive, detailed, and truly made us feel like our wishes mattered and could be honored. If you're looking for something a little beyond just a standard living trust document with someone who doesn't think any question is too stupid and will help you understand what you're reading, Shannon is the person you can count on. Set up a meet and greet with her if you're on the fence and see for yourself! Thanks Shannon!

When I first reached out, I was in a fragile state navigating a divorce involving domestic violence. Even though he wasn't able to take my case, he generously offered a free consultation where he not only helped validate my overall approach, but also showed genuine compassion and understanding. What stood out was his willingness to go a step further--he helped me sanity-check the lawyer I was planning to hire, which gave me much-needed confidence in my next steps. Six months later, when I found myself struggling with a lack of responsiveness from my attorney and growing concerned about delays, I reached out again to see possible options and if switching lawyer would be necessary. Once again, he was incredibly generous with his time. He didn't just listen--he provided clear, practical strategies that helped me re-engage my lawyer effectively. As a result, my case moved forward and was ultimately resolved within two months. One time, I was so stuck, Angelo called me immediately when he saw my message without any charges. I also really appreciated how thoughtful and efficient he was in preparing for the consultations. The information he requested ahead of time ensured that our conversations were focused and made the best possible use of investment made. His professionalism, empathy, and willingness to help--even without taking on the case--truly set him apart. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a knowledgeable and compassionate family law attorney.

Kortnee showed such patience with my mom and spent so much time talking with her until she was sure of what my moms goals were and advised her on the best course of action. Kortnee also worked closely with our family's accountant to advise us on the best course of action for certain financial matters. My mom was able to take all the time she needed to think things over and all of her endless questions were answered to her full satisfaction by the time we were finished. Now she has peace and knows that what my dad and her wanted to have happen after they pass is taken care of. I also needed to create my own trust, durable power of attorney, and advanced health care directive for myself. I actually learned so much through the journey. Kortnee and Adams' level of patience, compassion, thoroughness, knowledge and experience was so very helpful. They really listened to what our goals were and explained all of the different choices available to achieve those goals and what those choices could mean in terms of outcomes. There are no words to describe the level of relief to have all of this done and know that it has been done right. To know that my adult children will not have to worry. They have all the tools they need to take care of me if I'm too sick to make choices on my own and for when my time comes everything is taken care of for them.
