I brought a loose precious stone, two gold rings, a pair of earrings and my old wedding set. We discussed a setting and I was promised a phone call in about a week to come in to try on the wax. I did not receive a receipt for what I left at the store. I did not receive a phone call, so after 14 days I called. They promised a call back that afternoon. They did not call, so the next day I called again and they said that the wax got delayed in making. Ok. I waited another week, and happened to be in Spokane for other business so my husband and I stopped in. We had to wait while they fetched the wax from the goldsmith nearby. This was a Thursday. I asked about the quote for the scrap gold, since it would affect the price I paid for the ring set. Penn the owner said they would call with a quote for the gold tomorrow. It has now been 10 days and I have not received a call. I realize that they are closed on Mondays, but I couldn't even leave a message because they have no answering machine, so I guess I'll have to call again tomorrow. I have no record of what they received from me, and I have completely lost confidence that they will ever call me to complete my ring set. At this point, I will be lucky if I can get my loose materials back because I no longer want to do business with this company. I am extremely disappointed in a more-than-100-year-old staple of Spokane. It has been over a month, and I have no wedding set to wear, nor prospects of a new one.
