This place is an absolute gem. One of my favorite places to stop for lunch / dinner! I tell everyone at work to try it out. My favorite item on the menu is the pork and cheese pupusas. And make sure to get a side of rice and beans - they are fantastic. My husband loves the steak tacos and the chorizo tacos. I've never had a bad meal from here. It seems to be family owned and operated, and the staff are very friendly. Orders are fulfilled quickly - generally 15-20 minutes from the time you call. They are also open for sit-down dining now, if you'd rather dine in! Whatever you do, make sure to try the pupusas! They are amazing!

We had a great time having pupusas here! Pupusas are one of my favorite foods in the world. We ordered four different kinds: queso, queso con loroco, queso con frijoles, and queso con jalapenos. Yes, that's a lotta queso! They were very well made pupusas and fried for just the right amount of time. I especially enjoy the curtido (cabbage & carrot relish) and the fresh salsa served with them, too. If I had to pick a favorite, I would say queso con loroco. I really enjoyed that one, and the queso con jalapenos. But luckily, I do NOT have to pick a favorite, and I could just have one of each! And they are so delicious. The restaurant itself is very small and not in great condition. They do serve the food in house on plates and have regular silverware, but styrofoam cups and styrofoam to go. A big no-no in my book. I will definitely be back! Very delicious pupusas and very great location. I am also excited to try their breakfast.

We had a fun time here and we look forward to returning! I enjoyed their version of pupusas. Compared to other pupusas that I've had, these are larger in diameter, flatter, with less filling in the middle, and grilled to perfection, giving them a fried, chewy texture with a very soft center. I don't know if this is typical of El Salvadorean pupusas, but I don't care: they were really good! There were at least four vegetarian varieties: plain cheese, cheese & beans, cheese & jalapenos, and cheese with loroco (and loroco is a type of flowering vine). My favorite was the jalapeno variety, since it had a little more heat and flavor than the other types, though they were all worth trying. They have the cabbage relish, as usual, except that it comes to your table in a liter-sized bucket, so have at it! Also, a mild tomato sauce. In addition, they have Valentina sauce on the table, if you want to spice it up a bit. It's a divey place with a casual diner decor, located in a strip mall with a gas station. Come as you are, take your time, and they are very polite here. I'm glad that there's a place like this in the north metro! We look forward to our next visit!

The pupusas were so good! The rice and beans had a ton of flavor. I normally don't finish my beans and I scraped every bit off the plate!

Service was incredibly slow. I had a restaurants.com coupon and she refused to honor it. Bad business...

From the service to the food, you won't be disappointed! I brought a couple of my friends here who've never been. They had the steak fajitas and the spicy steak and shrimp. The place is rather large and when I was there it was serving as just a restaurant, but it definitely had the appearance that there are parties and more club like vibes at specific times of day. The servers were all extremely friendly, and very kind. I was waiting for a few friends to join me at my table, and while I was waiting, the waitress checked in on me a number of times and repeatedly refilled my water. Each day of the week they have a "daily special" in which a regular menu item is priced much cheaper for that day of the week. I came in on a Thursday and so that dish was pollo guisado. And so, you know I had to try it. First, the dish was massive and only ~$10. I had enough for my meal and lunch the next day which is unbeatable at that price. The chicken was very tender and the sauce was super flavorful. I highly recommend this dish! I'll definitely be back to check out some of their other specials and get some pupusas!

We initially tried calling for takeout but unfortunately, no one spoke english. Not to be deterred, we stopped by to place an order. I think this was the first time my gf had pupusas and she thoroughly enjoyed them. The sauces were great for dipping and added just the right amount of spice. It was a very generous plate of plantains which were perfectly fried and not too sweet to be unbearable. 10/10 would learn the necessary amount of spanish to seamlessly order here!

There are lots of smaller food shops. Like a food court mixed with clothing shops, dessert shops, and of course the market. Service 10/10 - the nice gentleman who took our order assisted us with the biggest and brightest smile. There's a bit of a wait (about 10 minutes) but it's because the food is freshly made! Food 11/10 - my goodness the pupusas were delicious! They don't skimp out on the curtido. You can choose spicy or non spicy salsa. The spicy salsa was perfect and also clearly home made. Everything about this shop just touched my Salvadorian heart. Ambiance 6/10 - they have lots of smaller seating arrangements. Max of a family of 4 per table. It was nice and clean. It was also pretty crowded and quite loud. It is as casual as it can get. So happy to know this place exists for when I'm craving Salvadorian food! Would absolutely come again for the food!
