We visited here because it was just down the street of where my family and i stayed. The restaurant itself is beautiful, we came during Christmas time and the decorations were just phenomenal. The service was pretty slow, but it was also fairly busy so we didn't give them a hard time for it. We tried many things and i have to say, everything was absolutely delicious! i wish we saved room for dessert because i'm sure it would have been spectacular. No complaints. One of our favorite places in Cuernavaca, it's a solid steak house. My favorite dish is the Arrachera (same cut as fajitas, without the Tex-Mex treatment). The beef soup was excellent. My filet mignon was very tasty. Everyone loved the provoleta and chistorra (Spanish chorizo sausage). For something unique, get the chapulines - fried grasshoppers - delicious in a tortilla with some lime. For dessert, the Crepas de Cajeta, made from scratch next to your table (the Cajeta part), were extraordinary. As a proper steak house, it is on the pricey side, but still reasonable. The restaurant is very nicely decorated. Good service (a bit on thew slow side) and valet parking. They sometimes have live music. Breakfast is always delicious at Rincon del Bife too. read more

Rincon del Bife is an outstanding Argentinian restaurant and the top quality, restaurant of choice to many locals (people from Cuernavaca) and visitors from Mexico City. This restaurant has been around for over 15 years, and has consistently been amongst the very top 5 places to dine in Cuernavaca (a city that has seen many many restaurants come and go) The setting is really beautiful: while the whole restaurant is covered by tarp to protect customers from the rain, the whole feel is of an outdoor area (the very common Cuernavaca "garden feel"). It has a number of round tables that are slightly more scolded and private than the rest of the table, so aim to be seated in one of these. While it's best known for it's Argentinian stakes and Argentinian food like empanadas, provoletta cheese, beef broth, salads, and pastas, the breakfast buffet is pretty epic and features traditional Mexican dishes. Great place to visit for brunch on a Saturday or Sunday morning if you're feeling slightly (or very) hungover. "A scene to be seen", so you'll feel comfortable if you want to dress up, as well as if you want to show up in the more "Cuernavaca" relaxed outfit (shorts and sandals). It's open every day, and always has live music which contributes to the pleasant atmosphere. The service is extremely top notch (truly representative of the Mexican service oriented culture). The value for money is pretty good, especially when compared with what you what you would get for a similar amount in the US or Europe. read more

Great place for steaks in Cuernavaca. Spacious interior, plenty of tables and a kids play area makes it great for families, special night out or even business. Menu is centered on Argentinian-like steaks, but they also have decent Mexican appetizers and side orders. Only bad note is that music is really loud. They have live groups performing but they are not at the quality of the rest of the place, making the ambience sub optimal, particularly if you get a table by the stage. You should definitely go and ask for a table as far as possible from stage. Lomo de Chorizo was way better than the Bife. They did deliver the steaks at the proper temperature and service was efficient, friendly and accommodating. read more

From the outside you'd think this place may be like any other restaurant...no way. The inside is beautiful! Very spacious, AC is moderate, plenty of tables, the entire place is filled with plants and they also have a fountain. They also had entertainment, which btw was amazing. The gentleman singing was great, both in Spanish and English. Service was excellent! From the moment we walked in, to being seated at our table, our order being taken and everything was top service. You MUST try their grilled provoleta cheese it is delicious! The tortilla soup, just WOW. Why am I giving it four stars? I didn't like my margarita and my main dish which was four cheese fettuccini. Excellent place for family gathering for pre-Christmas breakfast! Great selection of eggs and omelette prepared many different ways and many other specialties of the house. Excellent location in Vista Hermosa and beautifully decorated for holidays! read more
