They have a bunch of samples of their decor all around the store which is great so that you can visually see the variety of decor that they have. What I liked best was that the owner had a TV setup with examples of various setups they had done. It gave a great insight on what could be done with what they have. The couple that own the place are very enthusiastic about what they do and I feel like that makes a great difference. The pricing is extremely fair. It's not too high, nor too low. I like that they didn't suggest adding things simply to make more money. They did suggest adding a few elements, but when asked if it would affect the quote they gave they said no and explained that they have "package" deals and adding things doesn't affect the package as a whole. It was evident that they were more interested in giving customers what they want rather than making money. They seem very pleasant to work with and I'd highly recommend them!

I moved forward with booking and paying deposit moments after. Once, after I reserved the space, invitations was order and printed, then sent out to guest. Then on today I received a call from Sara , the event planner/coordinator/owner/multiple title holder of the business. From the beginning of the conversation her tone didn't register well with me, as we discussed event. Literally after hanging up with Sara, i received another call from her, stating they couldn't host my event. In which, she stated they couldn't host for a flow of 75, but was able to draft a contract that states my event will be a flow of 75. Seems odd right. Seems like a lack is communication between owners, managers, coordinators, or the entire team. I would advise anyone seeking services from here to stay clear or make sure communication is clear across the board before signing or booking an event here. First impressions are lasting, and from one entrepreneur to another I would never conduct business as such. I will post on all social platforms how I have been inconvenienced due lack of communication on their end.

She gave us peace of mind due to both her demeanor and experience and helped us ensure our welcome dinner, ceremony, and reception were beautiful and consistent! Our wedding venue was the Butterfly Garden in the Houston Museum of Natural Science. This presented a special challenge in that no "real" flowers could be used in the ceremony. I put real in quotes because Linda at the Secret Floral Garden created an arch with artificial flowers that looked so real no one even thought they were fake! It was truly awe-inspiring and our guests raved about it throughout our entire reception. She also created lovely bouquets for my now wife and our daughters and a boutonniere for me that also looked fantastic. We loved the decorations in the venue as well. It really looked amazing and we were incredibly happy with it. She also connected us with a printer who made a board for our escort cards as well as a welcome sign for the night before using our color scheme and our design. It really helped pull everything together over our wedding days! Additionally, at the last minute, we asked her to provide flowers for the day before at our Welcome Dinner and she came through in a big way. They were so beautiful and gave the patio we had our event a much more uniform and beautiful look that matched our wedding theme. I want to express my deep disappointment with the management at La Fontaine. We have used this…read moreballroom for multiple events over the years, including my own wedding, but this recent experience was by far the worst. Our niece's 15th party on 7/12 had several issues starting with the setup. Two main decor features listed in the contract were not installed. When we raised this with the manager on duty, Mr. Sergio , we were told these features were missing and too late to be set up. The decor manager should have proactively informed us about the shortfall and arranged a credit for the missing items, but no communication was made. The decor manager did not hold any accountability that she list some decor in the ballroom. The maintenance of the ballroom also showed a significant decline. Four industrial portable AC units were in use--was this communicated beforehand? Was the main AC not functioning? If so, should we receive compensation for this? Additionally, many ceiling tiles had visible water stains hidden behind fabric. Why weren't these replaced? It feels like an attempt to hide the damage. The gold glass tables inside were dirty and not cleaned before the event as well. Customer service at the bar was equally disappointing. The bartender, Patricia, displayed a poor attitude, was slow, and lacked the energy expected in her role. My father-in-law even had to step behind the bar to help because of her slow service, which offended her. She also cut people off arbitrarily, handling the situation poorly and causing discomfort for many guests. A bartender should be upbeat, efficient, and courteous, none of which were evident. On a positive note, the manager Sergio was great trying to resolve these issues, though the decor manager did not support him well and clearly needs retraining on client communication and decor management. Overall, this experience was hugely disappointing, especially given the high price and reputation La Fontaine portrays was not refilled and run down. I hope my feedback is taken seriously to improve the quality of service in the future.

Being a mixed cultural wedding, we needed a good mix of Indian and American music. To make the situation more complex, I requested 80s and 90s. The DJ and his crew hit a home run. The sound system and the lighting was on spot. They communicated very well. They made us feel at ease and made sure that everyone had a great time. Their charges were very reasonable as the wedding expenses can get out of hand fast. I highly recommend them. You will be very happy with them.

They were easy to get a hold of, really prompt, always followed through with getting me information they promised, etc. Also, Scott is hands down one of th eeasiest people to work with. I went back and forth on what I wanted and then had to trim out a bit because of budget. He worked with me, kept fixing the proposal and coming up with new ideas. He seems to really get people's visions and have amazing recommendations to bring it to life. My parents who are extremely critical of wedding vendors even commented on how great he was. They definitely didn't love the bill but I don't think they would have liked anyones prices. Flowers are stupidly expensive!
