TO ALL LONDON BRIDES AFFECTED BY THE LONDON FLAGSHIP CLOSURE
Like me, you may have received an email today to explain that Riki Dalal London Flagship has gone bankrupt. This was a very alarming email to receive, and I was devastated when I read it. HOWEVER, I have to say that since this morning I have been in contact directly with Riki Dalal in Israel (Dady), and the team based in Ukraine (Oxana) have also contacted me.
Given that the email was only received this morning, they have provided a solution in less than 12hrs, have promised me that my dress and veil will be made and sent to me in the next 2 months, and that my bespoke requests will be honoured too.
I paid for an alterations package that will not be possible, and no refund will be possible either, however this is something that can be claimed through bank insurance I believe.
While it's not the experience that I had hoped for choosing a luxury bridal store, and while I might need to pay for alterations elsewhere, the team have been exceptionally compassionate and have worked to find a solution for me very quickly. I trust that I will get my dress that I paid for, and I trust that they are genuine when they say this.
I just wanted to provide a little bit of hope to everyone else who might be worrying and panicking at this time.
