Andrea (my consultant) took all my stress away from the moment I came in. We browsed the rails together and found several options - before I slipped on "the one." I have big boobs and had struggled to feel good when trying on dresses at other boutiques but Andrea helped me pick out dresses that worked for my figure and made me feel amazing. Not only did Andrea help style, she also personally altered the sample dress I tried on and it fitted like a glove in time for my August wedding! Throughout our fittings, Andrea also offered me expert advice and tips to do "on the day" to ensure I looked and felt my best coming down the aisle - such as the best way to hold my boutique, look after the dress (which I had to bring over to France) and ways to accessorise to enhance the overall look. I am so grateful she came to my rescue... thank you so much to Andrea and Mirror Mirror for such an amazing 5* experience.

They just make women look like giant cupcakes, covered in lace. However these dresses are rather elegant, I would never wear one but they are nice to look at if you are one of "those" brides. This shop is by appointment only and is not child friendly, they discourage it as politely as they can. They have dresses for skinny and curvy women as well as all the accessories.

Here friendly, manly men took my camera from me, gave me a seat and ten minutes later, I had 117 standard size photos for the very reasonable price of £14. Not only that, but if you do fancy yourself as potential model material, need a portfolio for some other reason or even fancy getting married they can make all your photographic dreams come true. They sell photo albums, gilt frames and have a studio equipped with all manner of props and forestry. The best things about this shop are the photos that decorate it; bride and grooms floating on magic carpets, eating cake in the jungle or simply gazing lovingly at each other through a haze of glitter and smoke. All in all, much cheaper, easier and infinitely more entertaining than using the self-service instant photo kiosk at Boots.

There isn't a lot of selection in that area, but I had seen Gingerlily and decided to check it out. I am so glad that I went into the little flower shop. The shop was decorated for Christmas and smelled of fresh flowers, I love that scent. I also found an ornament, a beautiful snow flake, which was a bonus. After looking around I found a bouquet of purple flowers and couldn't resist. I love fresh cut flowers and the owner's arrangements are brilliant, plus she's very friendly and we chatted for a bit while she rang up my purchases. The shop also sells cards, not a very large selection but a large enough selection where you can find a card to go with the flowers you just purchased. I saw several other floral arrangements I liked but decided I couldn't leave the store with everything and happily left with my flowers and snowflake.

Particularly if I am going somewhere for supper or something. For some reason their flowers seem to last for tons longer than any other florist I buy from, the owner says it is because she goes to the flower market most mornings so the stock is very fresh. I think they always have a really lovely range and she will make you bouquets up to any price, starting from about £5. Also she sells a few orchids and pot plants. The place looks gorgeous, and has pretty pretty walls with vintage mirrors up, and there are a few really lovely touches like the stamp on the brown paper wrapping they use on the flowers. Often there is a little cat in the shop too. I don't think he lives there, but he adds to the ambience! I highly recommend Gingerlily Flowers to anyone.
