Well, the hackberry, they just cut a limb off and said that's what they were contracted to do when I SPECIFICALLY told them I wanted the half completely gone. They were reasonably priced and while in our neighborhood, picked up a couple other jobs, too. I would recommend them to anyone looking for professionals that can get the job done

Looking at your reviews I see I'm not the only one this has happened to. The owner blocked me on Google but here's my reply to YOU. Asking my neighbor about my signs does not give you permission to ignore them. The signs are there BECAUSE OF HER. She can not give anyone permission to trespass on my property. And if you can't do a job without dropping branches on another person's property and crushing their fence in the process then DON'T DO THE JOB. Tell her it can't be done or find another way. WORST. EXPERIENCE…read more I didn't want to have to leave this review, but after the owners promised to make it right and then never made good on their promise, I can't stress enough how horrible our experience was with Moore and Smith. They were by a mile the highest quote, and we don't mind paying top dollar for good service, but this was nothing short of disappointing. The company came highly recommended, however they repeatedly dropped the ball on our rental when we needed to have trees removed. They presented a waiver to our tenants stating it was "to cover the property under insurance should anything happen". This was in fact a waiver in case the lawn and or driveway got torn up. I, as the owner of the property was NEVER presented this document, or I would have certainly requested to move the service to another day when the ground was more firm. Lo and behold, the lawn is a demolition derby, the driveway is damaged, and the tenants were picking up trash and debris for days. Not what I would expect for an $8000 service. When I called to get to the root of the problem and express my frustration, I spoke with Megan, who is equally as classless as she is condescending... not sure what swamp they dug her out of, but I've never been spoken to by a more repugnant person. Any company that would have THAT as their customer service person clearly doesn't give a shit about customer service... The owners called me back to apologize for how she spoke to me, which showed class, and promised to return to our rental, smooth out the tracks from the damage, and to reseed the lawn. He also promised to come to our property for free for a service should we need help. They never made good on either promise, and calls to the owner have been unreturned and texts left on read. Needless to say we are disappointed and will never be hiring them again.
