I went in to purchase a car with money to put down. They told me due to my credit I would have to put a significant amount down . I thought all credit was accepted? Never was asked to test drive a car. Customer Service is horrible. They talked about racist issues regardless who was on the waiting area or being helped! I called and asked for a vehicle at $3,500. They said that they had 2 that they could show me. They had two cars but one of them was $4200. So I agreed to buy the second car for $3500 and I was bringing them cash. They told me $4250 out the door cash. When I showed up I showed them that tax title and licence on $3500 is $3851and that's what I would agree to pay. I left without buying the car. The manager Fred started this robotic repetitive sentence of what the car actually retailed for, even after selling it to me for $3,500. That is so condescending and I don't recommend anyone buying their vehicle there I know I won't. The sales representative Jonathan Luna was kind but I began feeling early on that he was lying to me. Well I've been with RightWay for 5 years never been treated better until now. After being rushed limited to what cars they wanted to show me and not giving me sale price before the contract was written up Sam their new finance guy promised to replace the front and rear bumper and trunk lid from damage. First week we had to wait on parts 2nd week the body guy had to get contracted with RightWay. At the end of the second week I spoke to Dam he said that takes some time he'd call me at the beginning of the 3rd week. I said yes just stay in communication with me please. Ending the end of the 3rd week I called 3 tines today he's refusing to call me back and my car still isn't fixed! Not sure where the old employees went but RightWay best beg them back because this joker they got in there now isn't doing anything for his customers and sure proving he's not a man of his word! UPDATE 06.13.18:: ALTHOUGH STILL IN MY 6MONTH 6000 WARRANTY I was just told by the mechanic that they work with that they got a phone call from right way today saying To stop working on the vehicle they weren't going to fix it. Now I'm stuck with a car that breaks down on me that gas gaUGE says it's empty even though it's full and just now while leaving work I had to turn the key 4 times to get it to start cause the 1st 3 times it did not want to start. DO NOT GO HERE. On top of that just trying to get an oil change at the place they told me to go get oil changes at for free with the coupons they gave me when I signed my contract and the place they told me to go refuse to do the oil change until they set up an account with right way because it's unorganized and that they've had trouble collecting payment from right way in the past when they worked on their cars WTF TYPE.OF CAR LOT ARE THESE PEOPLE RUNNING?! IVE NEVER FELT SO ROBBED IN MY LIFE . If i could give this place 0 stars i would. I signed a contract with them for a van no more than 3 months ago with Craig - who now rude with me. The van has broken down on me 5 times, the last time it broke down was in the middle lane on the highway. When trying to come to a resolution, ty the store manager and the employees there get nasty and rude with me. Bill the regional manager who works in Fairfield never answers his calls or returns phone calls when he is told to call customers back and always in "meetings or unavailable" when i call. There have neen days where i would be expecting a call from him and NEVER get a call amd have to call back in myself. Yet still i am on hold ONCE AGAIN trying to get him on the phone and hes not answring. Theyre own mechanic says this is a ridiculois situatuon with this van and they should have me in a loaner car at the VERY LEAST AND THEY DONT. Here without a car and rightway made over 10,000 off of me. There is more than one vehicle in that shop right now from the same rightway that have very many issues that were never checked before they sold them!!!!!! Thus situation is obsurd and a nightmare . GO ELSEWHERE AND SAVE YOURSELF AN ENTIRE AMOUNT OF TROUBLE AND STRESS. If i took the time to go into more detail you would be so shocked. John Yeager is a lying sack of crap. We bought two cars $600.00 a piece. Brooklyn helped us get this deal. Apparently the first car has a major transmission fluid leak and is currently still parked in my drive way. When i arrived home and reached out to John about the issue, John responded with "it's a $600.00 dollar car, drive it until it breaks". Unfortunately for me, John has washed his hands of this issue. The 2nd car they didn't even have ownership of. The title was in the name from two owners ago, which indicates they should have never took it as a trade in. Instead of obtaining a salvaged title we were asked to return the car for a refund. John Yeager only refunded us $200.00 of the $600.00. When i asked where the other $400.00 was, John stated that he only owes us $200.00 because we paid $1,000.00 for one car and $200.00 for the other car. I DO NOT recommend this "dealership" no matter how bad your credit is! On 8/3/19 they were about to sell my young adult son a 09 Acura w/ a newly replaced motor for $18k. They said if he traded it in 2 years (w/them) he would've paid about $10k, but he would be able you get a much nicer case car. The key was trading it in (which sounded more like leasing options). He did not give details about why the motor had been replaced. I told my son it was not ideal, but the decision was his. Chris, the salesman told him he could take the car & if he changed his mind they could cancel the deal & he'd be refunded. My son returned the car 8/5 they told me they wouldn't refund ther $$ 'til they serviced the car. This was not said when they said he would be able to get his money back if he changed his mind. They waited 'til that 8/7 to have it serviced. I had been communicating w/ Chris & Jonathan (the mgr) but they stopped talking to me when I kept inquiring about his refund. They waited til 8/23 to refund his money when initially they could've cancelled the pending charge, but they chose to let the charge post & wait 'til 8/23 to reverse the charges. John Yeager is a very greedy shading man. We bought two vehicle's from him. Brooklyn said he would sell us two vehicle's for 600.00 each. After getting them home one is sitting in my driveway can't drive, transmission fluid just pours out. My daughter called him he said it was a 600.00 vehicle drive it till it blows up. The other ran great but we couldn't put it in anyone's name because the title wasn't cleared so he was willing to take that one back but only gave me 200.00 back John Yeager you still owe me 400.00 you told me I paid 1000.00 for the car that is still sitting in my driveway and paid 200.00 for the one I had to give back.... Does this sound right to anyone... it's so he is not out of pocket.. Mr. John Yeager you still owe me 400.00 plus the 30.00 overdraft fee for the 200.oo for making it 1200.00. No one should trust this man. John Yeager is a liar. I told him I was going to talk to Corporate he laughed and said go ahead good luck. We we're somewhat willing to overlook the transmission problem on the first car even though it wasn't right. All Mr. John Yeager would had to do is pay back the 600.00 he promised us but being a con artist to the end he just couldn't do it. The only reason I'm giving this two stars is because the customer service is pretty good. I traded in my 2007 kia spectra for a 2016 toyota corolla. I noticed the a/c didn't work in my new car and decided to take it down to performance toyota to have it serviced, since I was told by the salesman, Ryan, that i'd only have to pay a $100 deductible the first visit and after that i wouldn't have to pay anything until the warranty was up. Toyota discovered that the car was a total loss from being in a head on collision and that there was absolutely no warranty from the carfax report they pulled. They also informed me that right way was supposed to inform me of this prior to the sale and was absolutely flooored that they sold me this car in this condition. Stay away from this place! Go to real dealerships like toyota, who have honest people. I'm stuck in this horrible situation and wanted to warn as many people as possible about this place to avoid what happened to me. Don't believe the high reviews on their website. I tried to leave a low review and was unable to so that right there in itself was fishy as well! read more
