Once we got inside to number crunch and come to terms is when things took a turn. Initially we were told they were in fact losing money ($1800) on the vehicle already. Then it turned into financing the vehicle. The "office staff" or "closers" would not discuss a final price without deciding how the car would be financed. We had notified the salesman from the initial conversation we were pre approved with our own financing.(4.49%) Lastly, the salesman came back and notified us that Joseph Toyota would not accept our pre qualified financing as they have had so many issues with the paperwork through our Credit Union using DocuSign. Bunk!! We have used the same prequalified financing through our local credit union before. Quite possibly the easiest paperwork I've ever done. Oh btw, Joseph Toyota financing through chase was (7.59%) For shame Joseph Toyota, especially of using your salesmen as pawns. We were never happier to have been able to leave knowing a cheap tactic like that failed utter. For Shame.....

I live out of state. Purchased a Chevy Avalanche from Adam. He took pictures and video and sent…read morethem to me so that I could see the truck APPEARED TO BE IN EXCELLENT CONDITION. Unbeknownst to me, the entire undercarriage was inundated with rust. I drove this truck LESS THAN 20 miles and the fuel pump went up. While the truck was on the lift, the mechanic informed me that this truck will not be allowed to be driven on MD roads because it is littered with rust. The fuel line is ready to rupture as well as the steering. I have grandkids and I told Adam I had kids that would be riding with me. He knew this truck was nothing but rust. He said the only rust was on the lower door panel. But that was a lie to get me to buy this truck. I asked for video of the undercarriage as well and he sent video of an area with a small amount of rust, intentionally. When he took video of the inside of the truck, he totally hid showing me the cracked dash, intentionally. I've reached out to him to buy this truck back and void the sale but he keeps coming back with "let me check." Then just the other day he told me to talk to the finance Dept to buy truck back! Does he think because I'm a woman that I'm that stupid! He sold me the truck, not the damn financing company!!! So I would suggest not buying a vehicle from a deceptive dealership and I will be suing this dealership for deceptive practices! I am fortunate enough that I have his voice and the dealership on video lying and in numerous text messages. I'll update here shortly as well. #autoempirenorth

They never honored that price they slid in the original price. Upon the test drive, I assured the agent that the shocks was bad window. Switch was bad, and there was a tear in the seat. He assured me with the warranty that came with the car would cover all of that and they sold me two other warranties in my contract that I did not want I took the car straight immediately to their Cincinnati took a picture of the video of walk had my car for one week did not put one mile on it. They assured me they test drove found a way to avoid the switch by saying anything that was broke when I bought it don't cover it the seat cover they tried to say it would take 3 to 6 weeks and may be additional charges and then they straight out said the shocks didn't look bad. All they did was put my car on a lift and because the shock was not leaking. They tried to say it was good absolute crooks. I've been a mechanic for 20 years. You cannot look at a shop and tell if it's bad or not. Not all shocks leak when they go bad. Moral of the story is they're crooks. I love the car and I already replaced the shocks and imagine this problems fixed so I'm guessing it was the shocks as in. That's the only thing I changed. They really sent me a video of my car on a lift. saying the shocks was good because they looked good. No test drive to how bumpy it really was. You couldn't drive it down the street without it bumping over into the other lane when you hit a bump. now keep in mind if I were paying cash and I were there not for a warranty. If I were there as a paying customer and I just needed a tire. They would swear I needed brakes rotors, calipers, shocks, tie, rods ball joints, anything under the sun because I was spending money, but because they was liable for the warranty, they of course, took no time to properly look at my car because they were liable for it. instead, they had their mechanics send us a video where they put it lift and said the shocks didn't appear to be leaking any fluids so they must be good and the roads was just cold. people need to stop letting these scam them paying thousands and thousands of dollars they do not honor and they got corporate lawyers to get out of it. I am gonna be filing a lawsuit with all the evidence I've attained. I don't know what that will get me but it's worth a shot.

Last week I brought my 2021 Nissan Kicks into Jeff Wyler Nissan on Colerain in Cincinnati, to be…read moreserviced after the check engine light came on. After paying $218 outright (that doesnt even go towards the repair of the car) for a diagnostic test (while Jeff Wyler Nissan of Eastgate only charges $175), the service advisor informed me that it was a Throttle Chamber assembly and Gasket issue, and that it could be solved for $897. At the end of a good week, I only make $300. Not their problem, just letting you know that $900 represents 3 weeks work for me. I asked if there was anyway the price could be brought down and was told No. Well since my car won't drive (I had to get it towed to Jeff Wyler Nissan on Colerain) and I thought I could trust a Nissan Dealership to be honest, I said okay for the repair. The next day I was informed that after taxes, I would actually have to pay closer to $1000. $100 more than originally quoted, so I once again pleaded to see if there was ANY way that price could be brought down and he said, "No." Without any other options to get my car out, I was forced to reluctantly agree to this price. Over the weekend I thought I might check out Nissan's own website to see if I could find out anything about the issue myself. While I didnt find out what a Throttle body does, what I did find was the exact part I was told I needed (Part 16119-5RLOA) for sale on Nissan's website for $397, which is more that $300 LESS than I was quoted. I called on Monday and left a message explaining my frustration, but no one got back to me till Tuesday. By that time I was quite upset and while voicing my frustration I was told to "Drop the attitude" and that anything involving cheaper parts was a Part Department Issue. So after being transferred to the Parts Department, I asked why there is a $300 difference in price. I was informed that even though I could've bought the part from Nissan's website, the dealership website doesnt get that discount. I inquired why I wasn't even told of that option, and was told by the Parts Department, I "Should've done my own research." Now when someone says Do Your Own Reasearch, to me it means,"You shouldn't trust me." I thought I could trust a Nissan dealership to be honest with options with me but I was obviously wrong. Feeling disrespected and cheated, I called The Service Manager of Jeff Wyler Nissan on Colerain named Mike Torbeck and left him a message to call me back. He never did. Today I was told that although the part was ordered and installed, my car still wasn't running and now its an EC problem, which is covered under Nissan's 8yr/80,000 mile warrenty. But NOW they would offer me a loner car (my wife and I have been without a vehicle since last Wednesday). When I arrived I showed a screenshot of the exact part that was put in my car, for more than $300 less than what I was told, I asked him why I wasn't offered this option or anything else and if he would honor the price I found. He talked to Mike Torbeck who informed him that the best he could do was take off 10% of the final cost, which would be a little under $100. Mike Torbeck told me that since he ordered the part for $719 and even though I found the same part for $397, he would not honor the deal, even though it was coming from Nissan's own website. I further inquired why I wasn't even offered an option to buy it myself and bring it in for a considerable amount less, but he deflected the question by saying that since I agreed to perform the repair, he doesn't have to even give me a discount. And while that might be legally true, its a bad representation of a supposedly honest dealership. When I asked him why it took a week for me to even be offered a Loner Car, he said, "We dont give those out to just anybody" which felt very insulting. This was my first time at a Jeff Wyler Nissan and I am walking away feeling completely gutted, offended, and taken for a fool. I advise everyone to "Do your own research" and go someplace else.
