Steve Judd was our guide throughout possessing the perfect calming and good natured temperment dealing with people and/or unexpected issues. He didn't seem phased or ruffled by much. He was very diligent in making sure every tour member knew what was happening whether we were grouped together or not. He also accounted for each piece of luggage at our various stops. We felt cared for and appreciated. Everything was handled in a professional manner whether it was with Steve or any of the office personnel (pre-tour). All of them were eager to assist in any way possible . . . they shine in customer service! :) All of our infomation packets (Pre-tour & during) were spot on preparing us for every aspect of our experience. We also appreciated the in person / Zoom pre-trip meeting as well as the rapid response to any questions we had. Now for our tour. We loved the size and pace. While the company can't control the weather, it was beautiful the whole time . . . May really is a great time to see Peru. Our local guides, Charo (Cultural) & Pepe (Incan), were warm, humourous, relatable, and knowledgeable. Reynaldo was our expert driver. All of our guides at Machu Picchu (a dream come true), the Amazon (Orlando & crew), and throughout Peru were top notch. We were impressed with all of our accommodations and the whole journey really was "Crafted With Purpose." There was time to rest and recuperate as well as enjoy all of the Peruvian destinations. Peru is so much more than Machu Picchu and we loved our whole experience. If you haven't been to Peru, you must go with Brian Judd Tours.

We asked about things to do, and Spence, our wonderful driver, give us a whole list and offered to help make reservations for some of our activites. He wrote all the info down with phone numbers. He offered to take care of all our transportation needs, and we took him up on it. He took us to all the dinner reservations, over to Snowbird and also to Sundance. He was great! The tour covered everything; from transportation, hotels, meals, tickets and entrance fees, to stops at local places we would've never known to go or check out. We did a private tour because for us we felt this would help us get the most out of our time and experience in Peru. This tour had so many incredible things and places packed into 4 days. Originally Junior reached out to us to answer questions, he helped us set up and lock in the tour with our special requests. He spoke to me and my boyfriend multiple times before the trip and always helped us to get answers or things arranged to our satisfaction. A few of them being upgrading to 4 star hotels and deciding to hike Machu Picchu Mountain along with the citadel tour. The Machu Picchu Mountain hike is long but the views and energy of the mountain make every second worth it. Once we arrived in Cusco for the actual tour Liz (our guide) got us to each destination without us feeling overwhelmed and rushed; and this tour has so many places to see. Liz was always on time, she always had everything well organized and she knew the answers to all of our questions. She is very well versed in the culture and knows how exactly where and how to do things. Liz doesn't mind taking the time to take photos or stop for a break. She also knows some of the best photo stops that most don't see or know are there. The first night we arrived in Cusco, Liz met us at our hotel to introduce herself and went over a few things for the next morning (when the tour actually began). This was such a nice gesture and made us feel very at ease with Liz. Liz is educated, a local, she speaks English fluently, she's patient and takes her job very seriously. She looked after us like we where her friends or family but yet always honored our requests and put our needs above all else the entire time on our tour. And sometimes me and my boyfriend can be a little high maintenance but yet this never seemed to phase Liz. Since we did a private tour, the company also provided a driver for us, Alfredo. Alfredo is a great driver and could probably drive the roads with his eyes closed. Something you most certainly want in Peru. He was always helpful and on time. This tour exceeded our expectations. Everyone involved went above and beyond to make sure we where happy. My boyfriend and I have done other tours in other counties and have never had anything compare to this one. Everyday there was pleasant surprises and we loved it all. Thank you Liz for taking us to these beautiful places, sharing the culture and adding so many wonderful memories to our trip :)

Travel Peru had the ideal itinerary of what we were searching, including the acceptance of credit cards for our deposit. Saul was available to us 24x7 for questions and answers. Saul's upfront staff Sophia was so patient with our countless questions also. We were a party of 8 friends, hikers and seniors (64-65 years) which was not easy for our guide Cliser and our porters who were so helpful and accommodating to each and everyone of us. I had mentioned to Saul that we were celebrating one of our Trekkers 65th birthday on the trek. He organized to have a freshly baked cake with matches for candles including engraving and decorating the cake by our chef and suis chef. While I'm mentioning our chef and suis chef the food on the trek was unbelievable -- trout, pancakes,fried rice, quinoa soup Pizza chicken home made tortillas chips & guacamole, pasta and chicken. Excellent food and plentiful !! Lastly our hats off to Cliser and all the porters who worked as a team to make everything come together. We couldn't have done it without our support from our team of porters and guide. Cliser was knowledgeable in plants, birds, history, health and foods. We may have stumped him twice but he was able to answer with the good old cell phone. Cliser was genuinely interested in his job and passing on info to us. This wasn't just a job to Cliser and it definitely showed. He was there to help everyone that needed any assistance and also had the choice of calling in his porters who ran ahead to set up lunch or dinner and camp. The porters still had the energy to trek back and assist Cliser rescue and assist us. A special thanks to Senon, one of our porters, who came back to help me since my head lamp had run out of batteries and shined the light for me. Phew I really appreciated Senon's assistance!! I want to start this off with a note that I usually don't post Yelp reviews because I'm usually too…read morebusy, but the world needs to know a good thing so here goes. We were off to what I thought would be a happy family ski trip in Park City, Utah when my seven year old wakes up in the middle of the night with abdominal pain. After calling around the local ER (just wanted to add a note that I am an ER doctor myself) we decide the best place to take him is Primary Children's Hospital back in Salt Lake City. We were staying at the Marriott Mountainside without a car as we hadn't been planning on using one, and I could not find anyone to take us as it was 4 A.M. And when I say no one, literally no one. There are no taxis, Uber cars, or any other car services that are available. But after much calling around by our concierge (a shout out to Steve at the graveyard shift at the Marriott) we get a hold of Ryan Smith who owns Snows Development Transportation. He apparently does the high end transportation business when celebrities like One Direction show up in Park City. Anyway, as soon as he heard I had a sick kid, he moved his schedule around and showed up to take us to the hospital in his personal car. He entertained my son in the car ride to the hospital, and when he dropped us off he gave me his cell number to make sure that we would be able to get back to our hotel. He charged me less than what a cab would have cost me, and he called and texted me afterwards to check in on how we were doing. Thankfully, all the tests turned out to be fine. Needless to say, we booked him for our return trip to the airport. I can't believe how well we were treated. Ryan, a big thank you once again!!
