Wages are within the range I specified and my particular employer is a stable, long established company. They are great to work with! I am still within the temp-to-hire period but expect to have a permanent offer extended to me soon. There is no fee to the applicant to use AppleOne. Even if you are out "pounding the pavement" and applying for jobs directly, keep in mind that some employers just don't advertise all of their open positions. Once inside, I had my temperature taken and was told to use hand sanitizer they supplied. I was able to meet with a career counselor, review and update my resume, but was not able to print it. It's a great service and idea, but the process is slow and some of the workers are not as empathetic as they should be. The computer lab is also outdated, but still gets the job done.

It's a piece of garbage. Same with every single staffing agency I tried to work with. They won't help you outside of WIOA with zero income, if you're a single parent without custody, and if you have physical disabilities or no work experience.
