All Time Towing was a godsend to us in our recent car situation. We called AAA for a tow, and…read moreRobert and his crew provided prompt, professional, above-and-beyond service. Rob helped us get the repair done at a local shop rather than a long tow. This was a huge win and saved a lot of money and time. He took the initiative to figure out and acquire what parts were needed and to communicate with the local shop about it. I can't say enough about how amazingly this was handled, and the thoughtfulness behind it. This service is top notch -- if you need what they offer, these are your guys. Words can not tell you how wonderful this situation we found ourselves in has turned ALL…read morecompliments of All Time Towing and their employees. We were hauling our 44ft toy hauler with our GMC one ton when we sheared off not one, not two lug nuts and bolts but 4. So a flatbead AND another wrecker came to assist us. They were quick to get to us. They knew we were in an unsafe location for us and traffic. They got us loaded and hooked up easily and safely. Well as luck runs the next vehicle to go down was one of their trucks. The one with our rig threw a rod. Our rig bares the evidence of the hydraulic fluid. Well they got us to safety and grabbed their big boy wrecker to tow the other wrecker AND our rig. They have graciously let us live in our rig (offered full hook ups) till the truck is ready plus they will clean the rig. The office staff is dynomite as are all the drivers and the owner. This morning first thing, they are working on our truck. Thanks for the awesome experience.

** Just as a heads-up, I submitted a change of address for Rick's Auto as it is now located at 211…read moreCharlston Road in Dexter rather than the Pine Street address listed here. It is just over a mile out from the Main Street Hill road intersection and has a blue sign out front that is hard to miss.** When my washer solvent hoses froze and stopped working, I planned to take it to a shop I had been to once before. But I noticed that by coincidence someone had brought their vehicle to them for the same problem and it didn't go well at all. That is how I happened to take it to Rick's Auto repair, whom I knew nothing about and saw no reviews for to speak of. But it was a lucky chance that took me there. Rick did a great job. He worked on the vehicle the same day even though he had a couple other jobs on, and when he found that the washer reservoir was pretty full but half frozen, he and an associate kept at the problem by flushing the tank with hot water until it all freed up. The washer pump was also damaged, which I had already figured on, but it was a standard model and available without needing to be ordered. So the job was finished to my satisfaction earlier than I expected and, as a bonus, I had planned to walk home after dropping it off as I live close to the old address, but the Charlston Road location is farther away and RIck graciously offered to give me a ride home. We are fairly new to Dexter and love the town, and it is a relief to have lined up a repair shop I trust not to just sell repairs but rather advise you what he would do if it were his vehicle.

It is just too difficult to get an appointment there. I called three mornings in a row, because they don't take appointments. First call, first serve, or something like that. On the third day I got through ten minutes after they opened and was told he had 20 people standing in front of him and I would have to try again the next day. Sort of reminds me of those radio station giveaways: Be the fifth caller and win concert tickets! But if you are the fourth or sixth caller, better luck next time! Well, I called a different repair shop the next morning and they got me in that day for the work. I guess everybody wins: I have a garage that takes appointments, they have a new customer for both our vehicles, and Dexter Discount Tire gets to continue to run their fun "Be the fifth customer" giveaway contests. Win-Win.

I dropped my car off and it was ready several days later! They repaired my car mid January. It was covered it dirt/mud and salt from the road, the inside dash was dust, and my front plate was on the floor of the car due to hitting the deer and it flying off! When I picked the car up it the repairs had been done (of course, what I paid for) the had spied all the dust off my dashboard (it was so clean and pretty), and they had sent my car through a car wash! It was the cleanest I had seen it in a while. They didn't need to wipe my car down and have it washed, I didn't ask them to, and I didn't pay for it, but they did it anyways! They went above and beyond! Great great people!
