I must provide my experience with Maverick Excavation so that someone else does not experience…read morethis. I first requested Michael's services back in February. At the beginning, he seemed very responsive. He came out to my place & provided me a price to do work to clear some land. He showed up soon & had about half of it done before he had some issues with his machine. He also experienced an issue with his truck & I understood that. He also seemed very intent on getting paid quickly, which, myself being an honest man I did so. In retrospect, that was a mistake. He'd mentioned he had a trip to Mexico planned for a family event & I did what I could to get him payment soon as possible. So, once I paid, I never saw him again. I had to keep reaching out to make contact up until around the beginning of June. I had a bit of contact & then it went dead again. I paid this man $1500 to clear land & prep it for grass seed. He got a bit of 50-70 % done in all & NO ground prep I reached out multiple times via multiple channels, but I've been blocked on all fronts. I do have a receipt from Venmo where I paid but I have no detail on what negotiated & that's on me. Alas, I must say IF you're contacting with them, please do not pay until the job is done or don't deal with them at all. I even requested that he refund 500-750 via Venmo, which would have satisfied me but I get nothing. I understand he resides in Vanleer but at this point, I don't know if he even has a contractors license...

I felt I also needed to get on here and give anyone who thinks of using this guy a heads up to stay…read morefar away from him! He showed up as he said to give me a quote on clearing about an acre of land, he for sure beat out the other guy I had look at it but also wanted 800 up front which I went ahead and did and thank god he showed up when he said he would. He did a great job on the 1st couple of visits but then started giving me problems with needing to be other places and then wanting more money to pretty much do what we had already talked about. I gave him the extra to Harley rake the rest of the stuff he mulched down but he never finished, a lot of it had to do with the few days of rain we got but he could've made it a point to bring his equipment back out later and finish the job much less mulch down the big pile of stumps and limbs he left me in a corner. So now I'm left with an half ass finished .74. Acre lot with a big piles of stumps and limbs , ground that needs to be finished Harley raked and on top of that I'm out an extra 2000 bucks for a container her stuck his forks in trying to move it out of the mud so that the company picking it up could square it up and put it on their truck. They came out 3/4 times to try and pick that container up and I eventually had to rent a skid steer to empty it because he packed it so full of concrete and dirt & wood that there was no way they could've gotten it. That was an extra 225.00.. I'm kinda okay with the land situation (not really) but what burns me up is, is that I reached out to him thru text numerous times to help pay for this container he damaged and I even asked just for half which he agreed to but then decided to stop responding.. You've been warned folks..
