This company sits atop of the mountain of laziness . If you want a pick up job done half right or don't care how sloppy and lazy they are, then this is the waste service for you. I was well below my 4 cu/ft limit (about 2 cu/ft max) when they came and picked up half of my load. They also made sure they messed up the pile leaving debris all of over the street for me to have to clean when I got home. When I called to complain and get a resolution, I got the "too bad so sad" response. They STINK! read more

I've used RAD or about 4 years now had excellent customer service as well as pickup. Had one issue where they skipped a pickup and they were there the next day and picked it up excellent service glad to have them for a trash service. Honestly who can afford waste Management costs and fees?? read more

I have not been happy with RAD in recent months. The cost for service has gone up twice this year alone. I was paying $48 per quarter, Then it was $54, now its $72?! I understand that minimum wage is going up $1 at the start of the new year, but at $40 increase per employee does not equate to me paying almost $30 extra per month. My utilities keep increasing but my paycheck isn't getting any bigger! Why is it my responsibility to cover your company's overhead? Does this company have 1 employee per house they service? DOUBTFUL. This is pure greed, and no will to provide a cost effective service. I will be asking RAD to come and pick up their second container so I will not have to pay more than I can afford. If rates continue to rise I will be making a monthly trip to the dump on my own. Keep it up RAD and you will be out the door. I have already shopped around, there are competitors who will provide the same service for less. read more

After seeing my auto pay charge went from $59 a quarter to $89 without notice, I called to see what was going on. I was redirected to a vm stating due to their high call demand. So they either do not have the proper amount of staff or that so many consumers are pissed off like me and trying to contact them. This rate increase is not acceptable. I have been a customer almost 10 yrs. I will be taking my business elsewhere. read more

After the Christmas holiday, I had an extra garbage can's worth of trash. The driver came through on Saturday, 12/30/17 and dumped the 2 cans I had at the curb. I refilled one of the cans and put it across the street next to my neighbor's can, which has never been an issue before - the driver just emptied it. When the driver came back down the street to pick up the cans, he asked me which can was mine. I told him which one it was. He then told me that he was not going to empty it because he had already made the pick up at my house. Mind you, there are 4 homes just on our stretch of street that do not have cans out as the homes are up for rent or sale - 8 cans that he did not have to empty - not to mention that he doesn't even get out of the truck to do it in the first place. I then asked him why he couldn't just take the can. He stated that if I wanted an extra pick up that I had to call in and ask for that and that there would be an extra charge. I told him I would have my wife call in. He smiled and said very shitty, good luck with that. I was so irate that I actually went to their office in AJ and asked to speak with a driver supervisor. I was told there was nobody there that they were all off for the holiday - hence the driver's smart-assed reply -and that I would need to contact them on Tuesday after the holiday and ask for Jennifer the office manager. I called in on Tuesday and first spoke with a girl named Ashley. She was actually polite and tried to help. Put me on hold for a few and came back and said that the manager, Jennifer, was in a meeting but Jennifer said that the driver was correct. I then explained that then if they are going to follow a 2 can only policy, then where are my credits for at least 4 months out of the year that I only put 1 can out. She then asked if I would like to leave Jennifer a voice mail so she could call me back and speak directly with her. I said I did and left Jennifer a voice mail. That was Tuesday, 1/2/18 - as of the writing of this review, Saturday, 1/6/18 - no return call from Jennifer. As you can see, extremely poor customer service. I will be contacting our HOA to discuss finding a new trash pick up service. If, for some reason, the management at Right Away Disposal wishes to contact me, my account number with you is 27965. Too bad there isn't a negative star rating. . read more

RAD does not have adequate personnel to answer their phones. Multiple times you are 35 - 45 in the queue and I finally hang up after 30 minutes of holding. They don't answer emails either. My trash and several on my street did not have their cans empty on the scheduled Friday and no one has been able to contact them. I assumed they had a truck issue and would pick up later in the day; and when that didn't happen, they would come by Saturday. Now its Monday, 11:30 a.m. no pickup and still can't get ahold of anyone. I have had to call in the past when a truck has passed my can which is exactly where it is suppose to be. Extremely poor service read more

When I started with RAD they beat Waste managements prices hands down. I went from paying around $30 a month for waste management including recycles to $14 with RAD ($10 a month for trash $4 for recycles) no hidden fees flat $42 for 3 month. This rate then increased to $54 for 3 months, then again with no pr- advanced warning to $75. I still hung in there, as much as this disappointed me. WELL,I JUST received my newest statement and they have now jumped to $91 for 3 months with recycles. Sure seems they are trying to discourage recycling,as this is the last straw. I am now would be paying the waste management fees of $30 a month. This is a HUGE increase in just a couple of years and very disappointing. I will be calling waste management back and if they can't beat the price I will unfortunately be forced to cancel recycling! :( Not a very "green" company I guess! Also the back of their bill says "rates subject to change at any time!" This is highway robbery! read more

HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE!!! I am forced to use them per my HOA contracted service. Switched from Waste Management to RAD and now in the last three months, they have missed my trash 3 times. First time they said no one was in the area for a week so get me next time. Took off less than $2.00 from my bill for missed trash pickup....Then missed trash pick u 3 weeks later...After arguing over the phone and threats of calling HOA they came out the next day and picked up trash on a special run. Now it's the net week and they miss the trash again!!! Driver has a corrective action that tells him to call in when he gets the trash and they claim the driver called. Bull Shit!! I have the trash in the bin.....RAD SUCKS!!! Stay away if you can. I would never recommend them to anyone. If I catch the driver skipping my box again I will pursue this with the local news. read more

RAD has been pretty trouble free for me. I'd recommend them to anyone without a 2nd thought. Pay your inexpensive bill on time and don't overstuff your trash can and you'll be fine. The only 2 issues I've ever had were someone parked in front of my can on pickup day, so they skipped me and the other being one time I had an oversized piece of sheet metal folded up which they left on the ground but took the rest. No big deal. I'm considering bringing them into my work for roll-off and end dump service now. read more

I would give them zero stars if possible. They have neglected to get my trash twice in the last few weeks. They leave the garbage cans a couple blocks away. You guys have one job. Pick up garbage. That's it. I'm done! not even sure where to start, so here it all is: - didn't pickup when changing schedule. - didn't pickup when told they had missed pickup. - increased price by about 50% without any notice other than a new amount on the invoice (I'm happy I wasn't on auto pay like one of my colleagues!), and with that would be significantly pricier than the big provider in the area (WM). - when I called to cancel service, it only took about 35 minutes on hold to get through. That is actually better than the other 3 times I've had to call because they do what they are paid to do (twice it was over an hour!). - and now they want $30 to pick up the cans (which has another company name on them!) We signed up with AZ Sanitation which we loved to have for years. AZ Sanitation were bought/taken over by RAD late 2018. Customer service is non-existent, and now the prices are higher than WM? Bye bye! read more

They raised their rates without an advanced notice. $4.55 rate increase. I wish they would have been nice enough to let people know BEFORE you see the increase on your bill. I understand their costs go up, but this is a big increase. I will pay it this time, but will start looking for a different company right away. This is not the first time the rates have been increased without prior notice. Not a good way to treat their customers. read more

My HOA (Cobblestone Farms) just converted all of trash service to RAD. It is less expensive (about $1 a month) but while the new garbage cans are nice, getting a delinquency letter after not receiving an invoice or a phone call or a warning is a trashy way to do trash collection. they wan to assess me a late fee. How crazy is that. So I went to the RAD website to register my account so i could pay and guess what? i could not do that as I needed an invoice number in addition the the customer number on the delinquency letter. If only I still had my happy relationship with Waste Management. read more

We started an account with RAD when we moved into our home in Oct 2017. All of our neighbors had the service and said they were dependable & they were $30 less than Waste Management every quarter. In the second quarter of 2018, they began missing pick-ups, regularly. At that same time, they increased our rate by $30 each quarter without notice. Our bank account was simply charged more. We called and they confirmed their rates went up and they chose not to notify customers. In Dec 2018 our rates went up $15 more for the quarter. So now our rate is more than Waste Management, our only other option at our old location. We just closed on a home and that location offers more than those two lame extortive companies. I'm glad to exert a little revenge by canceling RAD services. The only thing RAD about this company is price hikes, antiquated website, and horrendous customer service. PS they also don't honor veteran/LEO or any discounts for that matter. They simply suck. When you have to call in because the website can't accommodate any changes, the hold time is consistently over 25 minutes. I'm willing to pay more to any company other than them. read more

Horrible and unorganized. Been here many times to drop off tree clippings and every time I get greeted with a honk and hand gesture saying I'm dumping it in the wrong spot even though it was the same spot they told me last time. This company is completely unprofessional I moved into my address 2 months ago and there were trash cans here . So I filled out online to start being billed never got a call email or anything about it so I assued they were just gonna start billing us and that wasnt the case the cans just got picked up. And i was informed that the account was closed and that i have to pay for the past 2 months of services bc I was using there cans and they were taking our trash. And have to pay to have the cans delivered when they were here if they would have done there job I would have the cans so y do i have to pay to have them delivered and pay for past services when there employees didnt do there job the lady i spoke to said the previous tenet closed there account but they didnt pick up there cans for almost 3 months after they closed so they didnt do there job and that's my fault also and the employees that pick the trash up didnt do there job and look to see were they are supposed to pick trash up at. So either they didnt do there job or there trying to get paid twice from me and previous tenants read more

I signed up for RAD a month ago, and was told they offered two pickups a week. WITHOUT EVEN NOTIFYING ME, they just stopped picking up on Tuesday. After my full trashcan just sat out ignored on two occasions, I called in. I was told they only do one pickup now, even though the cost is the same. I'm pretty annoyed that thy charged me for 3 months of twice a week service, and didn't provide it. I'm even more annoyed they didn't feel the need to even let me know. If they were upfront with me on sign up, I would've been fine. My issue is that I received half of what I paid for. If this was the plan, why did they keep that from me when I signed up? By the same principle, could they just stop servicing my area altogether and keep my payment since apparently their agreements mean next to nothing? That is not an honest way to do business. Pay two or thee dollars more and go with someone you can trust. read more

The customer service is subpar and have no zero problem resolution to solve for a paying customer. Both my lids are broken and won't service trash cans without a lid, but yet I called and ordered lids through right away disposal going on two weeks and have to wait another 5 days for lids and hope they take my trash. Horrible customer service. Our bill has almost doubled in the last year. We did have recycling and trash, but have canceled the recycling. The bill went from $54 to $91.65 every 3 months. When asked if they would offered a discount to established customers, I was told that it was not an option. I had to call three times before I could speak to a customer service representative, but stilled waited 45 minutes. I used the 'Contact Us' option on their website twice, but never received a reply. read more

Horrible customer service, horrible service period! I have never known a waste company to pick up the can only but leave the flattened out and stacked neatly boxes next to the bin. They sure are cheap, they can't even take boxes that don't fit in the can? When I moved in I had a bunch of boxes that needed to be recycled but was considered overflow, which is free for recycling anyway. They tried to tell me the truck is ONLY equipped to pick up and dump the cans, not any extras next to the can. They then told me if I want to fit the extras in the now empty can seeing as they just picked it up 10 minutes prior, it would be a $30 return for service pickup fee! Are you kidding me?! You want to charge me $30 to come back around my block? I'm very disappointed in the fact that we're stuck with this cheap and unsympathetic trash company in Maricopa. read more

I had a ton of cardboard boxes right after Christmas, so I carefully broke them all down and put them in the recycling bin. I came home to find it hadn't been emptied, so called RAD and was told it was "too full," because cardboard was sticking out the top, and "poses a safety hazard." The lazy driver even bothered to get out of the truck to take a picture of it, but couldn't be bothered to make sure it got emptied. I immediately canceled my service and was thanked by a gratuitous can pickup fee. Waste Management offered me a much better deal and so far, better service. read more

If I could give negative stars I would. Horrible customer service, they are rude and nasty. One person Michelle said maybe I should take my meds and then hung up on me. They pick up trash in my neighbor hood, I am a renter, trash is provided by the homeowner who is now in foreclosure and not paying her bills. RAD stopped my trash service and would not allow me the renter to start my own service unless I paid the past due balance of the homeowner. The disposal companies in my area is RAD, unfortunately we do not get a choice of disposal company. I had an explosion & fire in my garage. I called RAD to get new trash cans since they were in the explosion. The RAD rep told me I would have to pay $75 per can totaling $150. The rep could care less about my situation, all they care about is the money!! A week later I get a pass due notice for $45.18 plus a $30 late fee. Once again I called RAD and advised that this bill was paid and funds removed from my account on 6/30/20. The rep looked at my account and said it was paid. Confused she called the accounting dept and was told it actually was not paid they had applied someone else payment to my account. I advised her the funds were taken out of my account and gave then the banking number so they can trace the payment to see where they applied my funds. An hour later a rep called me back to say the accounting dept will not take the bank number orally it must be a hard copy. So I was forced to send RAD my bank statement. I was told they would need to research and get back to me in 1-2 days. While I waited for them to get back to me I received collection calls regarding the $45.18. After five days of not hearing from RAD I called to see what is going on and I was told they misapplied my funds to another account. What kind of accounting dept is RAD running..this is twice they misapplied funds having to do with my account in a couple of days. This is how RAD treats a customer of many years who has never been late with a payment. I can't believe how they can get away with charging someone with a $30 late fee on a $45.18 bill who is less than a month old. Even though this is all RAD fault and I did nothing wrong I never received even a basic apology. Not only is their service horrible, their customer service employees are rude and their accounting dept doesn't have a clue to what they are doing! read more
