First of all I came to Amy as a worried mother of an ADHD child, she had prescribed medication and…read moreit made my child very bitter (age 4). She had gotten severely upset that I was not going to continue medication as none of the medications helped. Secondly I came to Amy for medication management and she changed almost every single one of the medications that was working for me and I had went into a manic state and I was seen by my old doctor again and he apologized for Amy because that should not have been the case, Just because this medication is supposed to help with issues does not mean that the specific medication will work for the human. Thirdly, my youngest son was seen by her. Medication worked for a period of time and then they stopped working. She had given me advice on how to manage and that did not work either. I vividly remember that she said if my child was not seen by a specialist for behavior issues she would stop treatment. She called me a horrible mother and said I needed to do better for my child. I had asked if she has any resources on where to get my child seen and she had nothing. Everything therapy I had found was my persistent personality to get my son the help he needs. I do not recommend Amy or any of her services due to lack of knowledge and personally she needs a doctorate degree if she has the audacity to speak to worried mothers like she talked to me. Don't see this lady she puts a bad name to nurse practitioners.

That was 2 1/2 weeks ago and no one from Commonwealth has contacted any of us family members to offer condolences. No one came to her funeral. The food is nothing like what was promised. It is comparable to public school lunches at best. The activities are very lacking. The housekeeping and daily trash service rarely happen. The call buttons don't guarantee anyone will come within one hour. Our mother fell twice. The first time, she laid on the floor until the breakfast crew came. The second time, she texted my brother because no one was coming and he got there before anyone answered her call for help. She was afraid of repercussions if we, her family would complain or contact the director. We even observed her PTSD from the falls and trauma that she suffered from those falls. After hospice came in a declared her terminal, we stayed with her 24/7. This was eye-opening! Their computer system is faulty. It is different between what the Resident Care Director logs into her computer and what the Medteks see on their computer. Therefore she was getting incorrect dosages, etc. We had to write down every med she was supposed to receive and make sure that is what she got and most of the time, we had to go find a Medtek to administer the meds. They do not have enough workers and the ones who are there work 2 and 3 shifts at a time. The morale between poorly paid employees and directors is very strained. Bravo to the truly caring people who were working there. They are few and far between. You must be aware of these inconsistencies.
