She verified my information and took me in after checking in the next person behind me. The service was fast, efficient and courteous. I do this review because I have been going to various locations of Summit Medical Group for 20+ years and for over 20 years the service has been spectacular. I started with them when my son was about 2 years old at their Short Hills location. I've used theirs Urgent Care, After hour Doctors, internal Medicine, Labs, Radiology, Gynecology, Podiatry, Orthopedics, Endocrinology, and a host of other specialties. Throughout the years I have had more memorable/pleasant experiences then unpleasant. I hate getting blood drawn and have 1 good, visible vain, but the staff always seem to put be at ease. The young lady today was more than great at her job (Shame on me for not getting her name, but she's been there for a few years), she was very professional and personable; it's because of people like her that Summit Medical Group is such a growing success. She not only provided stellar service, but World Class service. Not to mention the facilities and restrooms are always clean. So if you are seeking A great Medical Practice you may want to look at Summit Medical, they have so mNy locations Morristown, Florham Park, West Orange, Livingston, Berkeley Heights, WestField, Warren and some that I don't even know about, but they have worked for me. Truthfully I've only had 1 unpleasant experience in 20+ years and it's not worth writing about, because in this case the good truly outweighs the bad.

Nothing could have stressed me out more when it was diagnosed that I needed surgery to repair a torn labrum, remove a cyst and clean out some calcium deposits. Working with Dr. Jason Garcia and his staff at Summit Health made this process as smooth as possible. Starting from working with their surgical coordinator, to ensure all the required paperwork and tests were complete, to the Surgery Center they use, which is clean and makes the pickup process smooth. You want someone like Dr. Garcia performing surgery. He is a rock star. For me, his confidence made me feel that this was the right choice. The surgery could not have gone better. I was able to start PT 9 days after my surgery. My therapists almost didn't believe I had shoulder surgery because of my range of motion. I've been using (Kinesiology) K-Tape for over a year but it was starting to wear on my skin & it was not even working in the end so it was time to see a doctor. I researched at least 10 Orthopaedic surgeons in my area on Health-grades, Google, Yelp and other sites. Dr Garcia had the best reviews & back in 2008 my mom broke both ankles and Dr Garcia treated her so I decided to call his office. Lea made an appointment for me and she was so kind, got me in ASAP after explain the pain is traveling down my leg. They text me instructions the morning of my appointment on what to do when I arrived. I got there a few minutes early- texted: ARRIVED and they text me back within minutes telling me to come in. The office was spotless, I checked in and within five minutes I was brought into an exam room. After the very sweet nurse took my info- Leo came in and took me for X-rays. He was such a pleasant guy and we had a nice chat. I must say the staff is amazing and everyone was so kind. After the X-rays, Dr Garcia and his physician assistant came in, we talked, he examined my knees and he decided to start out with cortisone in each knee-- that wasn't fun BUT when I went to bed last night it was the first time in over a year my knees weren't bothering me then when I woke up, after sleeping straight through the night-I couldn't believe it, I kept touching the bone that sent shockwaves through my body the day before and the pain was gone. Dr Garcia was so kind and gentle, his personality is friendly not like some doctors who have no bedside manner with patients. No wonder his review ratings are excellent. I am so glad I chose this practice & Dr Garcia and it turns out they are a part of Summit Medical Group. I would highly recommend this practice and Dr Jason Garcia to all and any of my friends and family. I was in and out in less than 30 minutes. And they have valet parking too! Something concerning showed up on my MRI, and she tried to shove me out the door to an oncologist without providing me with a script or referral for a test that the doctor would need prior. The doctor yelled at me because I had forgotten the full scope of what we had discussed re: Facet injections three weeks earlier. I have had spine surgery and am in chronic pain all the time. Some days, I just need medicine to help me move, and they just don't care. I haven't had pain medication since my surgery 2 years ago. I attend PT regularly, which sometimes makes me feel worse. I was treated like an adolescent drug addict in asking for 5 pain pills. In which I would no doubt have to take sparingly, as a band-aid if needed. This medication makes me sick and nauseous, but it works for pain. I asked for more details about the epidural procedure and out-of-network fees, which they made me sign off on and agree to pay for, and the doctor stormed out. I have no idea what I did to deserve such treatment. They were blatantly mean and cared only about scheduling an epidural without giving me a quote or any care. The worst experience ever.
