Small dealership conveniently located off of the highway. Staff is super friendly and knowledgeable. They have some of the best deals in motor clothes versus other dealers. They really mark down some items in their clearance area as much as 50-70% where typically dealers mark that stuff down 20%. One time we came in and they were having some specials and we scratched off an additional 15% saving off of certain items. My girlfriend bought a really nice summer riding jacket for 50% off and they couldn't add the discount to it, but she also got some $80 gloves that weren't on sale and they offered to let her use the 15% off on those, she didn't even ask...that type of service is rare for a Harley dealer! read more

If you buy a bike from these people be prepared to be insulted if you have a trade in. They offered me a $2500 trade in value for a 2007 Sportster 1200 Custom that is almost as clean as the day I bought it but they have a 2008 Sportster 1200 Low for sale for $7000. Both had low mileage. The Low looks stock where mine has many upgrades and it was not even close to being as clean. I have had nothing but bad luck with this dealership including my bike sitting there for a week with a bad battery and they couldn't figure out or didn't try to figure out what was wrong and fix it. I picked it up and took it to Adenaline in Randleman and he had it diagnosed and fixed in about an hour. This dealership is a joke. **Update** I was contacted by two people from Riding High today. The first gentleman was the one who valued my bike so low, stated that he heard I was hoping for at least $4000 for my bike. He stated that he should be able to get pretty close to that. He said he was going to tell me that yesterday but I left quickly. Yes I did because I was done with these people. Ike was planning to walk into the salesman's office and save the day but he didn't get a chance to because I wasn't staying all day. Sorry about that Ike. Then I spoke with the Second Gentleman. He asked if I could delete or amend this review so this is the amendment. He and I talked and I pointed out that the low value placed on my trade was ridiculous and that I understand that they have to make money but seeing the other Sportster on the floor for $7000 and them offering me $2500 was terrible. If they valued mine at $4000 they would still come out great and the bike I was looking to buy from them had an average retail value of $11550. They were charging $13990 for a bike that had an average retail value on two websites of $11550. And they will be adding dealer prep fees or whatever they may call it on top of the $13990. Check the value of what you're buying from them online on a trusted site folks. They will undercut your trade and overprice their bikes. Do your homework before buying from anyone especially from this dealer. They are taking advantage of people when you make a hasty, quick decision. read more

Serviced a 2022 Street Glide. Very professional, they had me scheduled and took the bike back promptly. Service was completed sooner that expected. To compare pricing I did at another Harley dealership they were only $17.00 higher. Very convenient location and places to eat near by. One improvement I would make is a better sitting area while you wait. read more

I was looking at making a quick sell of my bike and didn't mind taking a reasonable hit for an easier process. So I called and asked if they'd be interested in my low mile 2021 HD. I gave them the info and they said they'd get back to me. They called back with a low ball offer from what fair market from JD Power was ($11,500). They offered $9500. I said that was a little low and I would take $10,500 as I understand they need to make money on it and I thought that was fair. My bike is selling for $12,999-$13,999 in the same condition at other stores. They said they couldn't go up any further without seeing the bike in person. I told them I live 45 minutes away and don't have the time and it would be hard to get someone to meet me there if I do sell to them. They said if I could come today we could see about negotiating more and the seemed very interested so I agreed. Even offered a Uber back if I sold. So I called my wife and told her to meet me after her hospital visit as I didn't want to have them pay for that ride. They didn't know she was there when I got there. When I got there the sells rep was very friendly and seemed to be the only one that wasn't trying to take advantage of me during this process. The manager on the other hand used his position of me riding that far with no ride back to his advantage in a very used car salesman predatory type fashion. He low balled the low ball offer even further to $9,000 saying he needed to replace the tire. I understand HD needs to make a profit here. But doing the quick math on that they would be making $4k-$5k on what would basically be flipping a bike. And he still used his advantage to try and get me out of $500 more. Complete sleezeball tactic to squeeze out more from a HD customer because he was in a better trading position. I have never been treated like this from any HD dealer. The manager wasted my time in a bold face lie to get me to his stealership with having me think we could come to a fair, reasonable deal that benefitted both us. From my experience, as well as many of my friends and families experience with the 4 HD dealers in this area, I would highly recommend you take your business elsewhere. There's no need for Greensboro HD to take advantage of people like this. I know from many years of experience that the other dealers in the area (Smokin, Thunder Road, Down Home, Cox) will not treat you with these predatory tactics. As for me, I'll let my motorcycle rot in my building before I ever let Ridin High HD of Greensboro make a dime off me. read more

This is the last place I would go to get work done on any bike. I've had issues with them in the past on what is considered necessary equipment on a motorcycle and then have then contradict themselves by saying the exact opposite. Over inflated on prices for just about everything is what you will find here. If it has a black and orange logo on it and can be monetized, it probably is at this place. On the flipside, the staff is friendly even if not appearing to be sincere, they will ask if you need help or if they can answer any questions you may have about the motorcycles they carry. They also host the rider safety course here which a bonus for first timers. Beyond that, there is really no reason to visit this place. Any parts needed can be ordered online or at another shop in Winston or Burlington. Just another note here - Yelp needs to stop allowing businesses to use stock images or images that are not submitted by actual customers. read more

I drove up from Charlotte to buy a 2016 HD Road Glide CVO. Everyone from the sales guy, the parts guy, the service guy bent over backwards. It was a great buying experience. Each of the above thanked me profusely for my business. Not sure what is the deal with the other reviews, I am just going off my one deal with them.......... FYI - Just like B.T., I had been to Speedway, Tilley's, Blue Ridge and they could not match the numbers that HDG gave me. Terrible Service, don't waste your time. I had an appointment on Sat morning at 9:00 for an inspection and fluid change. I dropped it off and Chris told me it would be ready by 3:00-4:00. I stop back by at 5:30 and they hadn't done anything. I live 40 minutes away so that was an issue for me. I spoke with Kenny this time and he assured me they would have it ready for me on Sunday. I told him I live 40 minutes away and it would be better if I waited and picked it up on Tuesday. He said no problem, I also asked him to call me if there were any issues. He assured me he would. I told him I would be there to get it between 5:00-6:00 on Tuesday. I arrive at 5:35 on Tuesday and I'm told that they didn't do the inspection because the front tire was bad. I immediately lost my marbles! All they had to do was call me and I would have told them to put a new front tire on. Instead, I drove 40 minutes to find my bike in the same situation as it was when I dropped it off. Unfortunately I lost my mind and probably said a few things I shouldn't have, but damn all I asked for was a phone call. Very poor customer service. They lost a customer and I'm gonna make sure all my riding buddies know what poor service they give. read more

I am leaving this here since greensboro harley has made it to where it can not be seen on their site because its all true,Buyer beware!!!!! This review was edited 6/11 because Greensboro Harley is a lying rip off of a dealership.--I started going to Greensboro HD because Danville's store was so bad it was worth the 45 mile drive to not deal with the local shop that hopefully has since been fixed by getting a new manager . I sold my bike after multiple multiple trips to the shop for different things that were covered by extended warranty.The service manager caused me some real problems with the warranty company and I ultimately lost the extended warranty because of what he did not do he said he would. I did have a trailer hitch on the bike that I had only used once in 4 years, he diagnosed my bike to need a new reverse motor over the phone $1400.00. This diagnoses happen the day after I got it back for them having it 6 weeks to replace a head gasket and an oil change.Notice I said 6 weeks to replace a head gasket and change the oil. The day after I got my bike back the reverse motor did not work(it worked fine when I left the bike with them 6 weeks before).I believe they burnt it up moving the bike around the shop using the reverse motor. The service manager told me the next morning to get the bike to him as fast as possible that the warranty people were coming to see the bike. I told them the trailer hitch needed to come off first and he said just get it here we will take it off. I had the bike there within 1 hour to help him out so the bike would be there when the warranty people got there that afternoon. Well, they did not remove the hitch like they said they would , the warranty company did see it and canceled the warranty., I am OK with that . I knew hitches would void the warranty so that really is my fault to begin with even if they said they would remove it for me.What I am not Ok with is the fact that they charged me for an oil change when they fixed the head gasket after 6 weeks of having the bike and put the old oil back in the bike after I assume they replaced the head gasket.I sold the bike and the guy who bought it called me and said the oil was as black as tar and the filter was seized to the motor from being put on so tight it took him an hour to figure out how to get it off. I had every receipt from all the work Greensboro HD did and they were the only ones who ever worked on it. The receipts showed where the oil change had been done 500 miles prior to me selling it. The buyer saw this and realized as I did that Greenboro HD charges for oil changes they do NOT do.There are plenty of HD dealerships around, RUN from Greensboro Harley if you want honest work done on your bike. read more

Had the best buying experience at a dealership, ever. The staff was extremely polite and helpful. I dealt mostly with Reade, the Sales Manager and he was great to work with. Every other dealership that I had been to, was a bad experience due to rude staff or condescending attitude from the sales team when it came down to negotiating a OTD price for what I wanted to buy. HD of Greensboro was a pleasant surprise. This was unlike any other dealership experience I had in the past, whether it was a four wheeler or a motorcycle. If you are looking to buy a Harley and go ahead and give them a shot. At the least, even if you don't end up making a purchase, you will NOT walk away feeling angry and insulted as you would most of the time. read more

I drove 90 miles to HDG to purchase a bike that day. I had my OTD price based on a ton of research. I found a great price at a GA dealership but wanted a dealership closer to home. I was immediately greeted by Chauncey who was great. I told him my OTD price and he took it to some other guy (most likely the sales manager). The Sales Manager never stepped out of the office to introduce himself to me, or to counter my offer. He sent Chauncey back to me saying they couldn't match that OTD. I thanked Chauncey and left. By the way, this is my second experience with HDG. The first time, I was pretty much waived off like I was this time, with no one of decision-making authority attempting to earn my business. No problem; I bought a '16 later that day from Cox's. Go see Dan and tell him Bray sent you. I won't get any sort of referral bonus. ...After physically visiting seven dealerships in two days, Dan at Cox's (and the ENTIRE Cox's family, especially Stephen) treated me better than most of the other dealerships combined! read more

due to back issues, thought of selling my bike. talked with Allen and took my bike there for them to go over for possible offer. i knew ahead of time that i would not get retail, didnt expect it. trying for easy sale that they could make a profit with no problem. Instead, they tried to tell me that my bike had issues. they said my front tire was 6 yrs old, had to be replaced. tire is not in bad shape at all, just low miles. rear tire- had a plug in it. i would agree on replacing that. front brake resevoir was leaking- It wasnt. needs new grips- I agree. They told me that the problems they "found" would cost between 2,000 and 2,500 dollars to fix. LOL Took bike to another shop for analysis. Replaced grips, tires and changed brake fluid. COST-- UNDER $600.00 My cost for parts and labor. Their cost would have been much lower than mine. But they say $2,000 to 2,500 dollars. LOL They tried to offer me $6500 for a bike that is in better shape than they claimed. They also have other bikes, same year and make, with over 30k miles on one, and over 50k miles on the other for $14,900 . My bike has less than 12,200 miles. 2008 model So, if you are in the market to sell or buy, look at what i just posted and decide if you want to just hand over your bike to them.
