Good shopping center but lacking variety. They have some of the higher end stores but are still missing quite alot of others. This place is very clean and mostly courteous staff working here. I didn't base this 3 star on the parking as anyone should know that most stores will validate your parking such as Whole Foods. I will have to agree that the street parking security people are annoying but I'm assuming they're this way to force people to not block traffic and go park in the lot. read more

Well I like the stores...at least some of them. But the parking is a mess. Costs $3 or more, can't get a spot, slow to exit and the cars driving in the lots are speeding. Actually the cars driving on the roads in the complex are speeding too....need to be careful. The clientele can be loud and rude. Walking up to the 5th level to get my car I did not feel safe. Poor lighting, no attendants, very iffy. In general, it is just not worth it. I have been there a few times, but not going back. So many better places to shop. read more

Today at approximately 2:04PM, me and my husband pulled our vehicle into an empty spot in Sephora. I quickly went into Sephora and upon returning a security officer is arguing with my husband about our vehicle being at that spot. the security officer clearly saw that I am disabled. I was walking with a cane and my left leg in a cast. Evidently, he showed no concern. Firstly, there are very limited spots for the elderly and/or handicapped individuals. Despite my handicap sign visible & my husband sitting in the car, he insisted that we need to park in the parking lot or look for another spot. This violates the access to disabled individuals act. me, my family and friends will never shop at Ridgehill any longer. Said officer was out of line and should be disciplined. read more

Ridge Hill is super clean and has the retail stores that I frequent often. There are always events going on at the mall that makes it fun for my wife and I. Recently we went for an event that had a lot of the restaurants offering small dishes to try out. Paid parking is not great, but it seems to keep the place orderly. I passed by their garden and saw all the vegetables that will be donated to the needy. Very cool for a company to actually get involved. Keep doing what you are doing. read more

I've been coming to ridge hill since it opened, mainly for the restaurants. But it's becoming increasingly dangerous to even walk through ridge hill. The people who drive through there seriously need to slow down! I don't mind paying for parking, but certain parts of ridge hill need to be walking only, with no vehicle traffic. Havan Central has a hectic atmosphere with comfortable decor and a beautiful looking bar. A tic above average food, but service leaves a bit to be desired. Our server was nice enough, but was AWOL for most of our visit. I may give him the benefit of the doubt since it was busy, but not overly so. Also on the down side was the fact that our appetizer was not delivered. Apparently there was a mix up as to the table that ordered it. Drinks were good, albeit pricey. All in all, an average experience. This could be a nice spot, but they still to work out the kinks. read more

Expensive, but safe. Beautiful for spring and summer. Horrible during winter. You will find a lot of shoplifters, but security keeps up with them. Concerts are great for families as well. Got to see Bernie Williams play there. read more

I'll always choose an open mall with interesting architecture from the other shopping centers. They may need to consider adding few more brand names, that will bring more people to the center, but beside that, this is a center which is easy to access, not that far from the city, and with good prices on certain days. read more

I really like this place. My friend came in from out of town and we were on a tight schedule. Rather than heading to the Palisades Mall for a little shopping, I thought I would hit up Ridge Hill. Im glad I did. I found some cute stores that I had not seen elsewhere like "Charming Charlie." I enjoyed the layout and ended the visit at a little restaurant called "Havana." I found everything I needed and since I went during the week it was relatively calm. I have to agree that parking is definitely a rip off, since very little unpaid parking is even available. read more

I LOVE this place! Newly built over the hill! I started going there when they had only a few stores opened back in 2011. Very different from typical malls you see...I feel like I"m in Europe or something.There're nice restaurants, plenty of places to shop, movie theater is my favorite! Cleanest and most comfortable theater I've been to so far (and I've been to a LOT of them)! Charming Charlie, Lord & Taylor, Cheesecake Factory and Apple store are some of my favorite spots.The only drawback is VERY limited metered parking. Most likely you'd have to park in one of the lots they have. In other words you'd have to pay (multiple payment options). Outside each lot, it says in digital figures how many cars it can still accommodate which is pretty convenient! Definitely worth a trip! read more

There are several stores at Ridge Hill that don't have locations in the city so I've been making regular trips back to visit. You would figure an out of the way mall would give you free parking to entice you to make the drive. But no, the geniuses here want to charge you for the privilege. Yes there are some free 1 hour parking slots, but that only makes the situation worse as a lot of people end up circling the area looking for free parking. This creates congestion where there shouldn't be. On top of that, when you do decide to park at the garage, they cheap out on the payment machines by putting only ONE at each entrance causing long line ups. There are not enough unique stores here for me to want to drive and pay before I even get to shop. Go elsewhere and save some TIME and MONEY. read more

I really want to like Ridge Hill -- it's so convenient to have good shopping, dining and entertainment options nearby -- but I can't because it's just too sketchy and I don't feel safe taking my kids there anymore. First, while Ridge Hill is supposedly non-smoking, I have seen on several occasions people smoking there. Second, the traffic situation is a bit scary. Pedestrians are supposed to have the right away, and yet I've found cars going through the intersections there not really paying attention to people crossing the street. Finally, and again related to traffic, I was rear ended while STOPPED at a red light there (because people drive like maniacs going through there) and Ridge Hill security said they have no traffic cameras recording the area. So, while Ridge Hill does provide a lot of the things that I would enjoy in terms of shopping and entertainment, I can't continue to go there. They need to significantly step up their security, both with on-foot security/officers that patrol the shopping area/parking lots and traffic cops/cameras. Given that they are adding stores and getting bigger, I can't imagine this getting better unless they are prepared to dedicate resources to keeping pedestrians and drivers safe. read more

Without a doubt- THE WORST MALL EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE!! Came to go to the LA Fitness and then to shop. Took me over a half hour to park onto the fifth floor of an outrageously overpriced parking garage. Was so aggravated by the time I had to walk all the way to the gym that I never even went shopping- then the ultimate was that I had to wait OVER AN HOUR to wind my way down their parking garage before I could even leave. Totally ridiculous that they charge for parking in the middle of some hill in Yonkers. The stores are nice, but I refuse to patronize a place like this that charges for parking when it's not in the middle of the city, it's in the middle of yonkers. I paid $3.25 to run into REI to return something. Twice. I think everyone should stop shopping there until they eliminate the parking fees. Get deal on Tuesdays ...$8.50! They have a large food selection ..pizza, Nathan's plus a small bar /restaurant inside. They have a Ben and Jerry's! It was great since they offered the free cone day promotion. Seats rock back, nice touch (pre-recliners). Would have been great if didn't have cloth aspects on seat (a hygiene thing) or if you could reserve seats. However, the theater was large. Look forward to going again to use birthday popcorn coupon (StarPass). Also, all day parking is $3 with some / limited street meter parking. read more

It's a major inconvenence to have to pay $3.95 just to browse around a store (comparing prices). At least the Whole Foods garage allows your first 90 minutes to be "on them", it makes it difficult to shop around since the lots are not close to each other, and require a considerable schlepp from store to car trunk, especially in the Winter. My daughter, however, liked inserting the ticket to exit, after paying at the kiosk just outside the REI store. Thr Development should include the cost of the garage fees in the monthly commenrcial rent, and not pass it on to the customers directly, that way the burden is shared equitably, pro rata based on profitability or sq footage of the store. The least they could have done wa smade a central garage that is equidistant to all stores - REI is at the opt of the hill and the other garage is by Cheesecake Factory - home of the 1500 calorie dinner plate. read more

Ok so everyone has touched on the parking issues this place suffers from but the cold hard reality is, theres really not much happening here, the Apple store Employees are simply unqualified and even a bit insolent. Cheesecake factory is Ehh overcrowded and though it isn't a foodies dream come true whether here or another location this site was exceptionally miserable! Art Of Shaving is here but again the lack of courteous & competent customer service is unavoidably present (I can forgive incompetence but not discourteousness) this place is typically far to over crowded to be worth clamoring and fighting for what little value it has to offer. Truly, if you insist on staying relatively local and are in no immediate need of visiting an apple store nor access to finer shaving products... you would be much better served at cross county or just central avenue for that matter, at least you know those place's are "Fast Food" not the over hyped fast food With a little garnish and higher price tag that Ridge Hill is! read more

Cross County Mall and Ridge Hill is about 8minutes apart. Ridge hill is better than Cross County because it has a lot more stores and the Outdoor mall is amazing. So many stores around. Yonkers had really clean up the malls in there County. read more

Stores and layout are nice, I come here sometimes to shop at LL Bean and REI (make no mistake, if there are any other REI or LL Bean location in the area, I'd never have come here). It is ridiculous to charge for parking at a shopping mall built on top of an uninhabited hill in suburban New York. Parking fee starts at $3.25. It isn't too expensive but is infuriating when you have to pay that parking fee just to return one item. Last time I went there, all of the ticket machines in my parking lot failed, so tons of people were trapped inside the lot, unable to pay their parking fee and leave. We had to wait 15 minutes for a parking lot manager to show up and let us out. This is a crime and we will never go there again. REI/LL Bean website have better selection than their stores anyway. read more

I would usually not comment on how I was treated but this experience was just unbelievable. I had an early Dr. appointment at West Med. in Ridge Hill.I pulled up in front of the building and great the snow was plowed away and there was an open parking spot in front of the building. I checked the sign posted and it said 60 minute parking. No problem, great, this is a nice convenience. I came out under the 60 minute to find my car was missing. Hmm, I went to the security office and inquired about my car missing. The security person behind the desk quickly called a security manager who came out side of the office to see me. I explained that I had just come from a Dr. appointment on the second floor and I need your help. I could be wrong about the parking but I need help with this. I once explained that I just completed a conference with my Dr. on the second floor. My reasons for being there are private but I am in no condition to deal with my car being towed. Once again I pleaded, please help me. The security manager call a security director and hand me his cell phone. The situation is now turning. Would any rational person hand a cell phone to a person that is requesting help. This is out rite strange!! The person on the other end of the phone could care less that I am dealing with a medical situation. This is the worst treatment I have ever experienced in any situation. I am in customer service. How can anyone not be sensitive to a medical situation no matter what it is. I walk out completely frustrated, confused and disoriented. I walked out briskly and went outside. I took a picture of the 60 minute sign for future reference. A security person told me me car was towed to County towing in Yonkers. I found it on my phone and spent the rest of the morning walking to County Towing. Wow, long walk in the snow and cold. First walking out of the complex (no cleared side walks). Across the New-York State Thruway and towards Tuckahoe Road. When I finally arrive at County towing I was surprised to find a pleasant person that was behind the counter to assist me with getting my car back. I did not have the $135.00 dollars that it would take to retrieve it. The kind person took my credit card and offered me a paper towel to wipe my glasses. She obviously knew I had a long, hard journey. I will never go back to Ridge Hill even for a Dr. appointment.This is not the place for hard working residents like me that needed help and was left out in the cold for real.CM read more

Why are we forced to pay for parking at this mall? This is ridiculous. They built these parking garages and the stores and other restaurants are already making a profit off us as customers so why are we being forced to pay for parking? It is sheer greed and should be stopped. Also on a regular basis I've experienced the parking payment machines not working, so I'm forced to pay, then an added hassle of not being able to do so and having to wait in the cold or in a line to get an attendant's attention. The major disappointment is that because employees, regardless of where they work throughout the entire mall, neither get free parking nor have reasonable access to whichever bus line they use to commute to and from work, there is no chance of any commercial venture in the entire mall ever culling quality customer contact staff ;Even high end storesm whose other county branches feature excellent customer service, just aren't going to offer quality personal service to the very extraordinary customers who seem to patronize this mall without ever expecting such service. read more

And then having to park at one of the top levels of the garage which is inconvenient???? Pay machines that don't work properly or are out of order????
