During the classes, there is always fun music playing and a variety of movements that help keep the class fun. My instructor, Casey, is very helpful and high energy which makes the class more fun for everyone. The workouts are very customizable to how much work you want to put into it, seeing as the speed and resistance are up to you. For what a great workout it is, the prices are not bad and they offer many great packages. Overall I would highly recommend Power Ryde for a fun workout lead by friendly and encouraging staff.

I've always been a bit skeptical when trying new spin studios because I'm the type of person who really needs a tough workout to make me sweat. You DEFINITELY get this at Power Ryde. The real Ryder bikes move from side to side so not only are you working your legs but your entire upper body as well. When you take a class with Casey, it's a guarantee you'll be sweating within minute of moving your legs. Her high energy, upbeat classes are not only fun, but one of my favorite workouts each week. Not only are the workouts great but the power Ryde atmosphere is as well! Everyone at the studio is so friendly and it really feels like a community. As long as I'm in the Cincinnati Area, I'll definitely be coming here!

Whether you are trying to get in shape or training for a competitive event, this is an incredible gym with so much to over interms of class variety. The facility is stunning. They do the cycling classes well. But that seems to be where they devote most of their energy, funding, and promotion. Sports training class attendance seems to be dwindling and attendance is far below the levels achieved when the sports training program was located at the far superior (but unfortunately closed) Zero Gravity. The facility is cramped, and the sports training areas are STILL under construction more than a year after they absorbed Zero Gravity. The gaudy and cramped front lobby has seen more construction attention than the actual training areas, being stuffed full of fancy lights, TV screens, bikes, and bike related merchandise that no one seems to buy. That tells you a lot about the priorities of this gym. It's fluff. Bunch of junk for sale. Fancy soap in the showers. Aromatic wash rags after you cycle that you can use to wipe your face. But failure to complete the training areas that members are actually paying to use. Sports training classes that are removed from the schedule for lack of interest. And the amazing thing is Logik raised the prices from Zero Gravity levels, expecting members to pay a premium price for cramped, unfinished facilities and poorly promoted sports training programs. There are numerous options in this area that are far superior to and much cheaper than this gym. I would not spend my money here.

It's tucked away in a small plaza next to a spa on Beechmont, but there is plenty of parking out front. There are many rotating spinning teachers for this studio and they are all great, especially the owner of the studio, Tami. She is fantastic! She really cares about everyone that comes to the studio and that is sometimes hard to find. Also the studio is relatively inexpensive compared to most places. A monthly unlimited spinning membership is only $50! What a great deal! I can only speak to spinning, but I thoroughly enjoy the classes and they're a maximum of 10 people, which keeps it intimate. They're not fancy bikes, but they get the job done. Towels are provided if you need one (and you will!) You can clip into the bikes with SPD cleats if you have them, or use the cages with any type of tennis shoe.
