He surveyed the gopher activity and told us what needed to be done. He quickly set up the traps, filled the other mounds, and 2 days later came back and caught the gopher in 1 try. It's a rare thing these days to find someone that is as honest as Rick. I called about a recent Gopher problem that I was having. He was very upfront about the challenging issues to overcome with my type of landscaping and didn't want to waste my time or money because of it. Gophers sound cute but are a yard menace like no other. We learned that the hard way. We had a gopher going after our landscaping, threatening decades of growth and work. After considering doing something about it ourselves, which was likely to fail, we decided to find a professional and get rid of the gopher before we faced thousands in replacement costs. One call to Rick and within a few days the gopher was gone. He analyzed our particular yard and needs, carefully implemented his fool-proof system, and quickly and humanely dispatched the gopher before it destroyed our garden. OMG what an amazing father and son team. Last week I noticed some holes and dirt in my front yard I knew it was a gopher, so I yelped and found Rick's Gopher Services, called them and they were at my house few hours later. I told them I had to call them back to schedule a day for them to come and put the traps. I ended up calling them back the next day and he told me they would be there on Saturday. A gopher came to visit us the night before Mothers Day. It was about eight o'clock in the evening and as we walked up the path to the front door we saw a hole in the ground next to the path and it had dirt piled around it. We hired another gopher service in May which charges by the month (much higher in month one). That service just didn't have the skill to kill gophers very consistently and our garden kept getting destroyed for 4 months. We fired the other service and brought out Rick. Rick set traps and came 2 days later but failed. He reset the traps and killed the gopher the next day. Ok... Wow... Where do I start?! We have had a family of Gophers terrorizing us for WEEKS. We tried just about every method you can imagine to get them out of our yard. We tried driving them out with Castor Oil, Natural repellent, then resorted to Gopher bombs and Poison. (we really didn't want to harm the little guys at first, but they started tearing away and the wiring system on our sprinkler and knew it was time to get rid of them for good.)
