I have a 2021 Tesla Model 3 and had 2 different people hit me in 2 separate instances. I took my car to 5 different auto body shops here in Corpus Christi and all 5 of those shops said that they didn't work on Teslas and all referred me to Rick's Detailing so i did. Family owned and operated they deserve a 10 Star review. Everywhere I went said go to Rick's when I met Rick Sr. the owner very honest and personable. Today I was BLESSED to have been able to remove the ignition interlock !! I was assisted by Debbie who month after month took really good care of me and was very understanding when I had concerns or issues. I had damage, on my Indian RoadMaster Trike 2018. Went to Rick's on a Wednesday and ask if he could do the repairs. And he said yes and can even start the work today, so left one part there and next day got bike to him by 9 , and also ask if he could do a detail job. Bottom line he did all of this work in two days, and did a very good job. And all the guys that came around were very nice and glad they were able to help out. Do not come here. Find somewhere else to go. Took my car in to get two dents fixed. They fixed one and said they fixed the other but they didn't. They said the paint was chipping on my door and took it upon themselves to paint it and charge me $400 extra without a call or any notice. They also gave me my car back with 0 miles to empty on gas as well as the engine light being on. They also d give me an itemized receipt just a paper saying "car repair" with the price and no details on what they actually did. Finding a decent, honest mechanic can be very stressful. Many people have horror stories about visiting the wrong shop. Fortunately, we found Rick. They're very responsive, honest, and genuinely care about doing the right thing. They've removed scratches, dents, and once even helped me find where this funny noise was coming from inside my car. The paint work was nice but otherwise, huge disappointment with how my car was handled. Went back because my dog lamp bracket was siliconed in place (silicone is literally covering my entire fog lamp bracket) and the owner danced around the issues blaming me for having needed it back today and that I was expecting something perfect. No, I did not need the car back today and no I didn't expect it to be perfect but I also didn't expect it to be trashed either. I'd also like to add that the owner claimed the part didn't fit but this is actually the correct part for my car. So all in all, I know a lot of people like this place but I had a very bad experience here. Also, he did offer to fix the car after an unnecessary argument but I don't trust that my car will be fixed properly so I'll just do it myself... read more

My mother Carmen came to this place by recommendation. The guy Rick was nice in the beginning. The car was getting a paint job and detailing. Well the problem is that the passenger airbag light DOESN'T come on when it supposed to. She took the car back to them and they supposedly fixed it. (It still doesn't work.) My mom went back and he (RICK) spoke to her with so much disrespect, saying that she has to pay for him to check it and pay for parts if it's a fault on her side... mind u, when the car first went in it was working fine. My mother left there in tears. And from the reviews seems like they are known to damage things and have people pay to fix it. DO NOT GO HERE! Brought my car in for some minor body work from it being backed into. They took out the dents fine, but when I came to pick it up the paint job was awful and did not match at all. I rejected the work and waited while they immediately repainted the pieces and instructed me to come back at my convenience to have the paint buffed so it would match. I came back 2 days later and they buffed it so it looks good. They did good enough work, but it took two tries and they should have caught the poor paint job prior to telling me the car was ready. read more

Had parts of my vehicle painted. The first time they said it was done, they had over spray on everything they could get it on. The second time, they painted the areas they missed and I guess they were upset, because they scratched the sh!t out of the grill and emblem. The third time, the owner actually defended his workers' poor quality job by asking me if I pointed their sloppy work out to them! When I asked if I really needed to, he said "well, they probably thought it was ok." Wow, as a business owner, I wonder how he stays in business. I would advise anyone to stay far, far away from this place. Bad quality, excuses by the number and by far the worst customer service in town. BTW, my vehicle still isn't fixed. Took some parts in to Rick's Detailing to have them modified and painted and he never started the work. He had the parts in the shop for 3 months. He kept telling me from week to week that he was going to start the work but he never did. Finally got tired of waiting and was frustrated so, I went to pick up my parts. My parts were sitting in a corner with about an inch of dust build up and some resin splattered all over my bumper. I will never,ever take anything there again. read more

Found ourselves with a broken rear passenger window on visit to Corpus Christi, TX. Went to Rick's at closing time. They taped plastic over the window. Rick found the correct window for an 04 Pilot rear passenger window and said he could have it shortly after 9:00 AM the following day. I arrived at Rick's at 9:00 and work began about 9:30. Had my truck repaired at rick's . The people up front were very knowledgeable and new how to take care of my insurance needs as I found some other shops wouldn't work with my insurance company. They called me to tell me my truck was ready to be pick up , I couldn't believe it was finished that quick. When I came to pick up my truck I couldn't even tell it had ever bin in a accident and also they cleaned my truck up with no extra charges . Rick's Detailing is a great place to bring your vehicle for detailing, painting, body work, etc... I had a brand new car, and I wanted the seats changed out, but I wanted a specific leather put in. Rick spent a lot of time with me, and helping me choose the right leather and so on, and he introduced me to the man who was actually going to do this job. I talked to him and I felt very good about letting him and Rick's Detailing change out these seats. When I came to pick up the car, I was in total awe of the job that had been done. It was amazing, and it looked better than the factory job that had come with the car in the first place. The factory job was also leather, but this man hand stitched the seams, and it was the most beautiful work I have ever seen on any vehicle. Rick and the man who actually did the job were very nice and patient with me, and I can't speak highly enough of their workmanship ! I was/am one happy customer, and from now on, if I need body work, seats changed and redone, new sound system or anything pertaining to my vehicle, I will go there. They know what they're doing, they treat you fairly, and they also have an office full of very nice people working who are there, waiting to help you. read more
