I join a group of friends on every other Tuesday to play cards. They serve food, they bring in scones and I've heard about the tasty brisket burritos from Slaughterhouse bbq but I've not tried them. Unfortunately they aren't stocked with a variety of teas ... they carry no decaf for instance. Sometimes they run out of ingredients needed to make specialty coffees that are in the menu. Which can be frustrating. My go to drink at Coffee places is a London fog with a sugar free vanilla syrup. I stopped trying to get that here because they either have run out of earl grey tea or the sf vanilla. So I order the unsweetened tea. My friend got a smoothie which looked pretty delicious! It's worth a little inconvenience to go here! Give it a go!

With Crema taking over and opening their second location in Tyler, it changes everything and actually makes the Plaza Tower worth visiting for coffee. The shop's interior mostly remains the same as this bright and comfortable spot with plenty of seating, plants, and touches of brown and white throughout the shop. It's perfect for getting a coffee if you work at Tyler Square or are coming downtown for any specific reason. When I went, I got a hot Lavender Latte that was good and up to Crema's standards.
