Frank's is one of the better ones, and they seemed to have everything you could possibly need if you're camping at Sleeper State Park. Because we packed lightly, we ran out some supplies and came here for convenience. Most of their common merchandise is reasonably priced, and they have a large beer selection. I needed more beer, and their 25-ounce Budweiser cans are priced right at $1.79, but the cases of beer were overpriced ($8.29 for a regular six-pack of Budweiser cans). They have some souvenirs too, and I got a pretty high quality Sleeper State Park coffee mug for only $5.

B&B Winery is a hidden gem outside of Ubly and Bad Axe. The home start-up has grown 3x its size in five years and hosts various vendor events, painting classes, belly dancing, and more. You're sure to have a great time and enjoy learning the meaning of some of the wine names. Like why are some of the wines called threesome, Bad Ass, and swingers? The stories will surprise you and the hospitality will win you over. Definitely worth a visit to sample, sip, and shop.
