Needless to say, we are loyal and consider them like family. Dr. Sehnert is extremely particular, patient, and provides the best care in dental treatments and services. One of the first things people notice about me is my teeth which I can attribute to excellent dental care over the last 26 years. I take pride in my dental hygiene and it is obvious Dr. Sehnert and his staff always have my best interests in mind. I have seen recent turnover in the front desk and hygienists over the last several years, however he continues to hire quality staff. I cannot speak to his prices compared to the market, however you get what you pay for, as they say. When it comes to any major dental work, he will do it the correct way, not taking short cuts. He also ensures you feel NO pain. Dr. B. is a new addition to his practice. She is very warm and seems to have the same work ethic. The Staff: Martha is incredibly patient and will do whatever it takes to get you scheduled (I have a very limited availability). Marichu assists with all major procedures. She's seen me through it all (e.g. wisdom teeth, fillings, and a crown). I have gone through two hygienists over the years, always wondering if I was going to like the next one. However, I am extremely pleased after my recent cleaning with Holly.

The support staff is wonderful. From the front desk to the dental hygienists, everyone has been incredibly kind and professional. I really appreciated that the hygienists were sensitive to my comfort levels and asked thoughtful questions throughout the cleaning to make sure I was doing okay. They definitely earn five stars for their patient care. My experience with the dentist herself has been a little different. Before moving to Texas, I had a dentist who was very personable and listened to my concerns. In contrast, this dentist feels a bit more rushed. Maybe because it was a Saturday? I noticed she tends to speak over me, and while she's trying to maintain a professional demeanor, you can tell she's on a strict time crunch. It's hard to feel fully heard when it feels like the clock is the top priority. For now, I'll likely stay with this practice primarily for the convenience. It's a lot of legwork to find a new provider and transfer records, so as long as the work is competent, I'm staying put. However, if any major issues arise, I'll probably take that as my cue to look for a place that feels like a better personal fit.

Unfortunately, after those changes, I experienced several issues that caused me to lose confidence in my care. During one visit, a staff member came into my room and began discussing removing a tooth that wasn't even mine they had confused me with another patient. While mistakes can happen, that was very concerning. At another appointment, the office reviewed photos/X-rays of my teeth that were over a year old. I only realized this because I noticed the date myself and pointed it out. They then had to retake the images. That experience made me question whether my treatment recommendations were being based on current information. I ultimately decided to transfer my care to another dental practice, where I've already completed my cleaning. I hope this office improves its organization and communication because accurate records and attention to detail are essential for patient trust.
