Not a huge job but also not nothing either. No major twists, would take half a day or ~2-3 hours for a plumber to do max. They wanted over $5,000. Line items included attaching the faucet to the counter for $900. There was nothing about their bid even remotely competitive to other plumbing companies I had quote me. I guess they thought people wouldn't get a couple different quotes, or they bank on it. The had no issue collecting the $85 service charge though for coming out. Stay far away, they price like they don't want to do residential work.

Arron, our drain specialist, was very clean and professional and did a great job solving my problem, and I cannot tell you how much of a relief this was. He tested the flow into the pipe and made sure there was no leaking from the nut at the bottom of the P-trap. Then he helped me re-level the washer and dryer. I was alone at home at the time as my husband was in the hospital, so I was reluctant to call a plumber for service. I am very happy I did and will call Roto-Rooter again in a heartbeat. One kid who looked like he was 12 was here for 5 hours trying to figure out how to get the air out of my system once he flushed it. Had to call in another tech. I was quoted prices for things that I believed I needed, by them and had the work completed by them. I was told due to lots of water main breaks to put in a water filter, did that, $650 dollars later, the housing was empty, EMPTY!!!!! meaning no filter inside the housing, so all the time I thought I was protecting my system and my family, no, just no.... I clearly wasn't. I was flabbergasted when my current independent tech showed me the pictures, not only of the empty housing but all of the sludge and build up in my system.... which supposedly was flushed out by them in April, yes, just 6 months ago. Check out the pictures, you'll see. Find yourself a local guy who's familiar with your system. I am usually on a positive review person; I like to help small mom and pop shops build their businesses. If I don't like a product, I typically take it up with them directly and resolve it. Not today! I am so pissed off that I spent thousands of dollars for a job that was complete crap. Do yourself a favor and skip them altogether, there are way better people out there that can do the job. I am not in San Fran, I have no idea why yelp has me listed there. I'm in Tewksbury MA. So on Sunday evening I called and talk with Doug Anderson. Per instruction I closed the gas line and water supply to heater. I was able to send pictures of the old HW heater with model number to identify correct height and water capacity of new HW tank and after a few pertinent questions was able to schedule the replacement next morning at 7:30 AM. Doug came on time with new HW heater, he was very, polite and professional with good communication throughout the replacement project. In two hours job was completed and I have Hot water to shower. The quality of the job was fantastic and takes away the old water heater and left everything in very neat and clean condition. If I could give on more than 5 stars I would.

Had them do a tub install with and ran into issues with the overflow drain leaking. A few visits, a visit from a tub repairperson later and still no success. I took a look and lo and behold the bracket was installed backwards from the installation manual and it worked fine after about 40 minutes of fiddling. I'm sure they would've kept coming back until it ultimately got fixed but this had dragged on for over a month and I wanted to get it over with. Also had them do a shower valve which wasn't quite set at the correct depth in the wall, but that's fairly cosmetic and I'm not super bothered by it but someone else could be. I'm sure others will have a fine experience with this company but mine was tough.

A rare combination of quick service, friendly demeanor, and professional expertise in approaching plumbing and mechanical challenges. As anyone who's ever had to deal with complex mechanical or plumbing projects knows, there's always more than one way to approach a problem, and Matt's creative and thoughtful approach to these situations is a great way to ensure the work gets done well and within budget. I've used Matt for both servicing of heat pumps and installation of whole house water filters and all situations Matt's been fast, effective, and reasonable on pricing. Compare that other larger providers with longer turnaround times and a litany of subcontractors feeding their over-capitalized organizations where you can't actually interact with another human being without a corporate iPad price quote for services you don't need and a markup, you don't want to pay intrinsically involved.
