At one, we met Tom. He was super knowledgeable about the house and entire area, but the house wasn't right for us. He recommended other neighborhoods we might be interested in and promised not to hound us if we gave him our info. And he truly didn't, which we really appreciated. We got back in touch with him and told him about some homes we were interested in seeing. He quickly set up appointments at all of them, and spent pretty much the whole day with us on Thanksgiving weekend, though I know he had company visiting. We told him we'd go to one of the houses that afternoon, as they had an open house that day. I thought it was a waste of time when I saw he had us going privately to that house. We saw about half a dozen houses that day, of all types in all sorts of neighborhoods. Tom did a wonderful job ferreting out what was important to us-he's a great listener! At the end of the day, he took us back to that Open House we'd mentioned-it was just ending, and he encouraged us to take another look. Both my husband and I knew definitively during our 2nd look that it was the perfect house for us. It turned out to be absolutely fortuitous that we had seen it earlier. After brief consultation, Tom submitted our offer that day, and helped us negotiate over the next day. We ended up with just what we wanted, and feel his knowledge was key in achieving that. It certainly didn't stop then. Tom spoke to us about different lenders and vendors for certain services. We still shopped around, but always ended up with the companies Tom had recommended and it served us well. He was quite helpful all the way up to and including the closing (offered a few inspection companies and set up the inspection with the one we chose, came to our walk thru and noticed little things for the seller to fix that we would never have seen), and has even followed up with us in the ensuing weeks, ensuring we were satisfied with how everything was going. Outstanding sphere of knowledge (neighborhoods, amenities, builders, valuations, etc...) Outstanding client service Would not hesitate for a second to recommend Tom as your realtor. My husband says he concurs!

They are a fantastic team that really works to build great relationships with their clients. They were so responsive to every email and phone call, and they were available at a moment's notice to show houses or draft an offer. They walked us through every step of the contract process, explaining everything in detail, so that we didn't feel lost or in over our heads, and they patiently answered our hundreds of questions. They even helped us move our closing date up a few weeks and worked closely with our lender to make sure everything got done on time. Working with Marc and Leslie made househunting fun and easy, rather than a chore. They never pressured us into any decisions. They are just honest, pleasant people who really know what they are doing. I cannot fully express how happy we are that we chose the Suskins, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone. We were buying the home we had been renting for almost a year and we needed to act quickly, yet responsibly and as informed as possible. Initially, the listing agent had approached us to represent both sides of the sale. I am grateful we did it go that route as I am confident we would not have been ethnically represented. Donavaun really looked out for us to make sure that we were buying a sound home and that any repairs that needed to be made, were made. There were some intense moments with response times (or lack of- I am trying to be diplomatic about the listing agent) from the sellers side but Donavaun was consistent and honest with us. Our home eventually closed after over 2 months of escrow hell, all of which were made bearable by Donavaun and his calming demeanor. It is worth mentioning that we rented the home before purchasing it, and as part of the process, many tradespeople had to come into our home which had us on guard as 2 women in a same sex relationship. Donavaun was always affirming and brought only the best tradespeople into our home, and when we could not be there to meet with them, he would show up. We are so grateful to Donavaun and his team. Buying a home was not in our plan, but the possibility presented itself and we went with it, and made it come true. But only with Donavaun's support and advocacy through the process!

We were first time home buyers and as soon as we started looking into the process Donavaun reached out to us to offer his assistance. I am very glad he did because I don't think we could have ended up with a better realtor. He was ALWAYS available and very quick to reply to any questions or needs. We told him a few houses we had seen online that we wanted to look at and he was able to arrange viewings within the week (often the very next day). He was very helpful when we were looking at houses but also not too pushy about anything. Once we picked the house we liked, he helped us to figure out what to do for an offer and drafted up a contract very quickly. We had some issues with the seller being difficult to deal with, but Donavaun was able to use his powers of finesse to smooth things out and make the deal happen. I was unfortunate enough to work with Pepine while buying a property and had a terrible experience. I thought I was unlucky with the agent and decided to give them a second chance so when I decided to rent my property, and looked for them to manage it. The first manager was a grumpy lady that treats you ok before you sign a contract with them. As soon as she had the contract signed your life turns into a nightmare. You will be ripped off with fees that come out of nowhere, get a terrible management service, have an unresponsive crew both via email or phone (yes - they will just ignore you), and the list goes on. I thought again the problem was with that specific manager, but later on a new manager and broker came on board, and things improved for one month or two, just to get way worse right after that. I cannot advise you enough to run away from this company. Pick a cousin, sibling, or a Pakistani freelancer online to manage your property, and they will definitely do a better job than this company. For example, as per today's date, I am begging for them to send me one document (a lease), and they've been ignoring me for 4 months but still charging me (and sometimes double charging me a management fee). Pepine won't forget to charge you an arm and a leg to manage your property or sell your house, but for sure this is the only thing they will care about. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!!
