I was years overdue to remove my large pine trees, some of which were as high as 70 feet. With this, I needed someone with the right equipment and experience to complete the job without creating havoc. They arrived with a team, an enormous crane, and all the necessary equipment. Schuyler, the owner, is personable, responsive, and on top of everything; in short, truly impressive. They provided a quick response (within hours) with a proposal after a site visit, arranged a date/time, and were at my home exactly as said. The pricing was appropriate, considering the amount of time required, as well as the team of workers and equipment. In summary, my son used them and recommended them to me, and I was genuinely impressed.

I found this organization on Facebook; their actual name is Maguire's Family Tree Service:…read more I have been watching a few of my trees deteriorate for years, dropping thick branches damaging fencing and cars. Tried heavy trimming but to no avail. They had to come down. I had many solicitors over the past two years, offering a wide range of solutions with a wide range of costs. Unfortunately, I was not born with a silver spoon in my mouth. I happened upon Maguire's Family Tree Service through a glance at Facebook community page, along with several other tree services. I contacted all of them and they all responded, but when Joe (Maguire) came out, he offered me many options with solid costs for each option. He was down to earth and I liked his presentation. He doesn't have some of the large 'toys' that others have, but he has grit, determination and a good eye for the job. I researched for reviews and couldn't find much, but I still hired his company. His office staff (Felicia, the missus) is extremely competent and efficient. When Joe and Tod finished the job of several tricky tree removals, the work area was clean and the quality of work was on time and exactly what I wanted. They did a wonderfully professional job. I wanted a competent, local, community-based company and I got this and a lot more than I hoped for. I have more trees in the future and upon rebuilding the coffer, they are my go-to tree service!

We had a diseased 60 foot tall maple tree that needed to be removed, before the harsh weather ahead. We got three estimates. Ervin came in 33% below one of them and 14% below the other. He also offered another $300 savings option but we chose to have them do the complete job, through final cleanup. Ervin and his crew arrived on time and quickly and efficiently cut down the entire tree, mulched the smaller branches and chopped the larger, healthy ones into firewood. It was amazing to watch. The Tree Climber was particularly impressive as he skillfully maneuvered throughout the tree. The tree removal was completed in about 5 hours. Stump Grinding and final cleanup were completed within the next two days, as agreed. It was a pleasure to work with an honorable businessman who is true to his word. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.
