Rich's auto repair at 1411 n. Pinal ave. (current address to make no mistakes) brought my 2008 f 250 in for a full once over. Charged me $2800.00 to replace a water pump and rear main oil seal. He broke a clamp replaced it with a regular hose clamp, took 2 weeks saying he ordered the tool to replace the rear main oil seal and it took a week to get it. Anyway got my truck back and it still leaks oil. Shifts very badly now which it didn't before. He was very rude failed to honor his warranty saying " didn't want my business!" Gave me some insurance companies number. My truck still leaks oil from the rear at the transmission. And to add insult to injury sent a clown emoji. I told him I will forward all this to my attorney. We brought our car to Rich's Auto because of the good reviews, however we were very disappointed. We paid $1300 to have the clutch replaced but when I drove it afterwards, it stalled every time I took my foot off the gas, almost causing an accident because the steering locked. My husband took the car back to Rich's but he said he would have to charge $150 to look at it because it wasn't to do with the clutch. A friend who used to be a mechanic checked our car and found the air hose and 1 cable loose. He quickly fixed it and the car is fine now. We do not recommend Rich's Auto. read more

Go see Rich! I called them at 5 PM today desperate for a mechanic to look at my car immediately as I had just been in an accident on the highway where my bumper came off. Not only was he willing to wait at his shop for me to get there so he could look at the car, he actually offered to meet me at the gas station just off the highway 8 miles away from his shop so that I didn't have to drive there. I chose to drive to his shop where they immediately brought my car in the garage, checked it out, determined I was safe to drive AND didn't charge me for the inspection!!! Had my car towed to Rich's auto repair on Tuesday Tuesday afternoon they called me said my car was done and I could use some new battery terminals so I said replace them when I got to the shop rich wanted $100.00 cash i had only credit card so bill was $120.00 i drove off a mile later fuse blew agaim So i replaced fuse returned the car 3 days later He said it was going to be tough one on fri i went there he was belligerent so I took my car to another shop in an hour and a half I was back on the road they were able to accomplish in an hour and a half what he was not able to do in 4 days read more

Terrible services. Never take your vehicle here. I took my car in because it was overheating. 900 dollars later, he claimed it was fixed. I picked the car up drove a block down the road and it was still overheating. I called him and he said "he didn't know what to tell me." Great service! I had gone a little off roading with my corolla this past weekend (not smart) and was worried it may have damaged something underneath-- since it occasionally made a rubbing noise while I drove fast. He took a look at it with no charge and noticed a few pins had fallen out and that the bottom was hanging about 2 inches. He fixed it- and still didn't charge me! Most honest mechanic I've ever met! This review is a long time in coming, and for that I apologise. Two of my children and I were traveling back home to San Diego when our vehicle started smoking while we were in the middle of nowhere. We have AAA but they could not find anyone very closes we had to wait over an hour late at night in 100 degree heat. Our tow truck driver took us to a hotel and dropped our car off at Rich's.around midnight. I called and left a message for Rich explaining that our car was there and where to reach us. He called before his shop was even open. The kiddos and I were close enough to walk over to drop off the keys and Rich suggested an awesome place for breakfast. He found out that a plastic bag had caught, hence all of the smoke.. Rich noticed that our car needed brakes and a serpentine belt I asked why didn't he just install them, to which he replied that he knew that we were in a hurry to get home and that they were safe enough for us to do so. THIS IS THE MOST HONEST AUTO MECHANIC THAT I HAVE EVER MET.
