It's located on the grounds of Richmond High School and previously served as the high school's gymnasium. It was renovated in 1993 and has a seating capacity of 616 on the Main Floor and Boxes and 312 in the Balcony and Boxes. Civic Hall Performing Arts Center has the look and feel of a high school performing arts center and serves the community quite nicely by providing a decent sized venue for educational programming, local events, and regional acts including the Henhouse Prowlers show I was able to see. Despite spending several years in a seminary in Richmond, I'd not gone to Civic Hall until recently. Accessible parking is available at the entrance and exit of the circle drive in front of Civic Hall. There's also accessible parking on adjacent streets. It is important to note that accessible seating is only on the main floor - there's no elevator in Civic Hall and those with mobility issues would not have access to balcony seating. According to the Civic Hall website, "Civic Hall has wheelchair accessible seating located on the main orchestra floor on each side of the main seating area. Booster seats are available for children at the box office. For hearing-impaired patrons we offer infrared listening systems at the box office. Please alert the box office as to any special needs at least two weeks prior to the event." I'm always impressed with performing arts centers in smaller cities and towns. You can get season tickets for the Civic Hall season with prices ranging from $110-$155. That's a pretty awesome value. Richmond also has quite a few motels/hotels and can be easily accessed off I-70 for those who see a regional act they'd like to attend. While I wouldn't consider this a destination performing arts center, it's a comfortable and quality performing arts center for those in East Central region of Indiana. While there are some accessibility concerns to be found here, with appropriate planning individuals with disabilities should easily be able to enjoy the show.

Starting with my fifth grade teacher, Mrs. Reid. She is amazing. Such a good teacher. She is humorous, and awesome at her job. I also want to thank and address my fourth grade teachers. Now, when I was in fourth grade, Ms. Mayo was teaching our reading period. So I want to thank her and the other fourth grade teachers. Moving on to third grade. At the time I had Mrs. Brotz, but unfortunately she does not work there anymore . But, as a replacement, Ms/Mrs. Stoops is teaching her class!! She is awesome as well! Moving on to second grade, I had Mrs. Day, although she was not there for 25% of the school year, she was awesome as well. Now for first grade, I had Mrs. Moody, which also does not work there anymore. I would also like to thank my specials teachers, Mr. Day, Mr. Fox, Mrs. Ross, Mrs. Goble, and Mrs. Hoogenboom. We were lucky and got in. And we couldn't be happier! The standards here are higher than "state requirements", which I love. The teachers are awesome, seasoned and down to Earth. The principal is about the nicest guy. I'm ecstatic that our child is here. I do wish car rider pick up was a bit more organized/monitored but I'll take it! If you've got a choice in the area, chose Northeastern!!

Also I walked two blocks to school rain, sleet, snow, hail ice, tornados, war zones, it made no difference, we went everyday. We had good teachers who taught and knew what they were doing. We had cooks for our lunches, a seven course meal, not something shipped in and only God knows what it is or was. And not fit to eat as of today. Kids were not allowed to run up and down the halls yelling and cursing and disrespecting the teachers or we got our asses whipped by the principle, no phones dress was decent we knew boys from girls. It is so sad today everywhere and the schools are pathetic.We said the Pledge every morning and we prayed in school. Dear God we need your help every where. Also no more cursive writing being taught and you wonder with all of the above WHATS WRONG WITH THE KIDS LOOK IN THE MIRROR WHEN YOU HAVE ANOTHER E LEARNING DAY AND YOU WILL SEE
