The staff is very friendly and make the meals for campers as well, which was pretty tasty food! There is a lot of space for activities, we did some ice breakers, kickball, a night hike, and even got to zip line witch was awesome! The camp is also well maintained and kept, I'd come back here given the chance.

The class allowed the students to be independent "chefs" and work mostly independently under supervision. My daughter felt a since of accomplishment and developed more confidence in the kitchen after class. The best part (for me) was the food. Oh my gosh~ the food was AMAZING. They made a chocolate chip cookie cake with icing and a mini fruit pizza. Chocolate chip is not my favorite, however I had several bites. The cookie could not had been any more perfect. It was moist, soft and just delicious. At the end, the kids took the recipes home. The class started and ended on time. It was a great experience.

This class was for ages 3-13 and the kids learned to bake three recipes. The best part was that parents could drop off their children and head out for 2 hours of errands or a nice brunch! I was impressed right away by how bright and clean yet playful the space is. There is a wall along the back with 4 microwaves and 4 ovens which is perfect for some of the larger camp classes or the older kid's cooking classes. There is plenty of counter space with their large islands that hold a sink at one end and a convection stove top at the other. This class had little tables and chairs set up for the preschoolers while the older girls sat on stools around the island. Perhaps my favorite part of the kids cooking class was watching the teachers interact with the kids. They did a great job keeping the kids listening, learning, being safe and having fun all while baking! I know that can be a feat with just a couple kids at home! The way they interacted with the girls gave them confidence in continuing to bake at home.

In operation since 1915, Civic Theatre offers 90 performances and 500 opportunities to participate onstage or behind-the-scenes in a professional theatre setting annually. Since its beginning, Civic has had five different homes. In 1915, it started at the Herron Art Institute before moving to the 240-seat Hedback Community Theatre in 1924. In 1973, Civic moved to the 645-seat Showalter Pavilion at IMA before relocating in 2004 to a 490-seat theatre at Marian University. Finally, Civic moved into the Tarkington at the Center for the Performing Arts in 2011. The current theatre has 513 seats. Mainstage productions include everything from musicals to comedies to dramas with an average of 30,000 patrons annually. As someone who believes strongly in inclusive theatre (I was a drama minor in college myself), Civic does one of the better jobs in Central Indiana of addressing accessibility issues. They are known to offer sensory friendly performances, have offered audio-described performances (and have large print programs), and also offer accessible parking, accessible entrances, and accessible seating that can be reserved. They also offer shows with ASL and Assisted Listening. For those with disabilities, I recommend contacting Civic for more detailed information. I've seldom attended a show here without seeing other wheelchairs or individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities. I've never been on-stage at Civic, but I have worked behind the scene in years past. Most recently, I've attended as both an audience member and media member. My experience has been that Civic leans toward more well known, fairly mainstream productions. For example, the 2022-23 season includes The Diary of Anne Frank, The Cat in the Hat, The Sound of Music, and Murder on the Orient Express. Jr. Civic is an amazing opportunity for the kids to get involved. Civic Theatre is definitely one of Central Indiana's longtime stage gems. With an outstanding group of professionals and volunteers, Civic offers consistently high quality performances and a great experience for theatergoers. Located in Carmel, it's an easy drive and a great entertainment in a beautiful setting.

Tri County took care of the problem first spray and recommended the proper follow up necessary to keep eggs from hatching over time. As someone who HATES the idea of bugs in my home or around me I was beyond pleased with TriCounty. There really is no one else I would ever recommend to get rid of your problem. I recommended them to a friend who spent way too much money with allpest and after months of the problem not being solved she finally called TriCounty and they took care of it no issues.

They're currently hosting the "Corporate Challenge" events, which are so fun because, as small town things go, you typically know everyone and their brother that are involved. Pretty sure they were hosting the checkers tournament earlier today. haha They have a large room for dance, tumbling, Zumba, etc., that fortunately has huge windows that give the room amazing natural light. The place offers up a basketball court, weights, walking/running track, a good variety of exercise equipment and an area for childcare. With Winchester being my hometown, it makes my heart happy that they've taken such pride in this building. Health and community involvement are important and the Y allows those two things to easily come together.

The parking lot is large with lots of spots to park but not too hard to navigate. When you walk in the front entrance, after walking up a long cement walkway, there is a large lobby area that has a few tables and some chairs, and a long hallway off to the left. It is all very clean and seems well kept. The auditorium was down the long hallway and was very large, with padded theater-type seats. The stage was nice-sized and seemed like a great place to perform. If you happen to need wheelchair accessibility there are several accessible spots on the left end of one row in the auditorium with seats removed for wheelchairs. For those of us with mobility challenges who are also able to walk (I use crutches) there are hand rails to hold onto up the gentle slope. I do think they might consider making a few more rows handicap/wheelchair accessible so people who need this can have more options for seating but good for them for even trying. The performance was really nice and each age group did a very nice job. Overall this was a great time and I really enjoyed it. If you plan to go to an outside performance located here you are in for a good experience.

That being said, you do need to watch young children because Escapades is not a babysitting service. You can think you are the best parent ever and then find your older child in the baby area or climbing on the outside of the equipment anyway, just because someone else's child had the idea and yours thought hey, why not? There is always risk of injury at any playground and the staff at Escapades are extremely busy checking kids in, making food, and taking care of the arcade in addition to cleaning up the messes so many people leave behind. Watch your own children.

However, if you choose to pay by card, tickets must be purchased through Eventlink, which adds an extra service fee and makes the cost slightly higher than paying cash on site. They provided a QR code at the entrance if needed. There was a paper schedule to follow all the teams and game times throughout the tournament. The lady collecting admission was friendly and welcoming, which set a positive tone upon arrival. The games were played in the gym which is called the Tiernan Center. There was plenty of seating and good visibility from most areas. Since the tournament took place during the weekday, the venue was not overly crowded, making it comfortable to watch the games. Parking near the gym entrance was somewhat limited, but there was an additional parking lot within a short walking distance, which was convenient. The restrooms were clearly marked and easy to locate. They had plenty of stalls. Concessions were available, though it's important to note that they only accepted cash. This venue provided a well-organized and comfortable environment for a basketball tournament, with friendly staff and adequate amenities for players and spectators alike.

From the cardio to the weights, the daily "workout" person has plenty of options. And for those interested in other activities, there is a gym (flex) that I've seen basketball, volleyball, and of course lots of pickleball played in. Plus, there is a sweet gymnastics area and a cheer program! If you are into tennis, the facility is top notch, plus they have 3 tennis courts that serve a dual purpose, so there are 6 painted pickleball court lines on them for those that prefer a tennis surface. Just flat out amazing!
