Delta High School moved their cross country invitational meet from the Water Bowl to here. It's probably less remote for most of the area teams, though Delta itself was close to the other venue. There doesn't seem to be much in the way of parking, especially considering that they have a few fields. We parked on the grass and the drive way, if you can call it that--is fairly maintained, but not great and no worse than the Water Bowl. Of course, you're not supposed to be going fast enough that you could really do damage to your vehicle anyway. Delta High School was able to lay out a "aesthetically-pleasing course", as I was told, so apparently the maintenance crew mowed the grass accordingly. It was quite striking. This is a decent enough place to hold a baseball or softball tournament. 5 fields total, all dirt infields, fences from 305 to 325. Temp fences are set up for the younger players, along with those faux baseball mounds (multi purpose fields). Decent enough concessions (pickle juice shooters?!) and restrooms that aren't Porto-lets. Grounds crew doing a good job taking care of fields between games. Not bad. read more
