All the stories my family and friends had told me were pretty true to form. This place is a tavern with pretty good grub. They are world renowned for being the home of the Rocky Mountain Oyster Sandwich (hog nuts). But they have also have a pretty darn good tenderloin. I took my dad there today and he said that the food tastes pretty close to the old Bud Fadely's recipes from the 50's and 60's. I talked with the person working there, they are trying to be the pub for the neighborhood as well as the golf course. I did not eat any of the food, so not able to put in a review for that, but I will mention, they are going to be open even when the golf club is not. So great options if you are in this neighborhood. They do have a rental area for parties, I have seen weddings and graduation parties here. It is lovely inside with lots of windows and looking out over the golf course. Back to the golf, I love that the golf carts keep your score and can email it out to you. It is also convenient to see everything at once. There are areas where the fairways are narrow and balls are flying, so you do need to be a little more cognizant of play! There is a ranger to keep things moving at the start. We were there early in the year, but I believe they have beer runners as well! There is a driving range next to the clubhouse. Parking is easy. Coming around to hole 10, easy to get to the restroom and get lunch at the Par 5 Pub. Friendly staff, clean carts. My only complaint is that they definitely slow the golf carts down a lot on downhills and bridges (kind of funny how slow). Overall, very recommended. Had a great Mother's Day at Brookshire. We annually get golf reservations for Father's Day as a round of golf is a perfect gift and a great way to get some fresh air. But, I think the guys like the beer cart that delivers beer while out on the course. Anyway, there is a nice facility/club house that hosts weddings and other events, has a pro shop and a snack bar downstairs. The pro shop and snack bar are open to the public as well. Recently, the facility hosted area residents for the 2024 Eclipse viewing. Guests could sit on their lovely patio or bring chair to sit in the grass. The snack bar has a limited menu of sandwiches and fries which are prepared fresh. The staff is super friendly and banters with the regulars. There are tv monitors in the eating area and about six tables. You can also take your food outside and eat on the patio and watch the golfers. I had the chicken club wrap which is served warm and is very good. the sandwich was filled with bite-size pieces of chicken, tomatoes and lots of onions. I like onions but if you don't you may want them to hold the onions. The fries are ok. Very hot, but not crispy as I like. The fries are over salted for my taste. The burgers are good served with lettuce, tomato, onion and pickles. The kids enjoyed their hot dogs. They have a good selection of beer and the prices are really reasonable. This is a great facility that many people do not know is open to the public.

She explicitly and directly told us in writing: "You do not." Trusting her professional guidance, we were subsequently misled and left with a permanent, negative flaw on our legal marriage record. Things did not improve on the wedding day. Our day-of coordinator, Emily, was entirely unprepared and lost when it came to making decisions. Instead of running the event smoothly, she repeatedly came to us asking what was supposed to happen next, and it was obvious that information we had provided in advance was never communicated or maintained among their staff. When we brought these documented failures to management, Mike Robison and owner Daljeet offered nothing more than a blanket dismissal, shifting blame rather than addressing an undeniable paper trail of staff negligence. Unfortunately, our experience is not an isolated incident. Looking at recent public feedback, this is now the third detailed 1-star review from a summer bride in just a two-month span highlighting severe communication breakdowns, unfulfilled promises, and operational chaos during peak wedding season. Oh, and don't forget that they are members of NARM and AHS, so many reciprocal museum memberships will get you free entrance into New Fields.
