When this place started to pop up in his conversation I had to ask what it was. The best way I can describe this to you is the following: think Amish store, consignment shop, thrift store. You can't necessarily put this place in any given category because it is not completely one particular business. The items they have on their shelves you can tell come from other stores, especially by the branding. There are some really good deals to be found here, or maybe just find a new item you have never seen or heard of before. It is best to come here when you have time to spare because this is not a spot to dash in and grab something. What I found great was that this is taking up two storefronts in this plaza that were formerly empty. I want to say that one of the spaces used to be the post office. It is a welcomed addition to this plaza as they are kind of going under a revitalization of sorts. Other businesses are moving in as well. The consignment portion is pretty mixed. You really need to have time to go through what is offered. But overall, the store has food items, cleaning supplies, toys, small appliances, outdoor furniture, outdoor items, and so much more. Cash is encouraged here, but they do take cards with a surcharge. You will be surprised by the final price once you do pay.

This is a quirky store that fits in for the area. I'm trying to think of a place to compare it to in the area but cannot. I was bored one day and pulled up a map and looked for places I have never been before. That just happened to show me Ken's. I actually never heard of it until I saw the map. Ken's sits in a position that overlooks Route 219 and is about a mile or two from the exit. Not much else up herein terms of shopping beside the thrift store. Parking lot is a bit tricky as it is gravel and not marked in anyway. Once inside you are greeted by several different rooms that are filled with stuff. It definitely covers all departments that you would find at a store. Not as large as you would find in a typical store, but definitely covers a fair share. Like many stores like this, some of the items on the shelf could be questionable. Read that as some packages are damaged, maybe some are near their sell by date. One last thing, go by their Facebook page not their webpage.

You can find anything from food to clothes to wild and weird items, dvd's, and even smoking pipes and knives. If you can't find something, ask! Yeah its a bit dirty inside, sometimes even cold. But they have bathrooms! When its nice outside in the summer, people will set up outside and have plants and produce for sale too. Honestly, that's how I had discovered this little gem of a place. Once you walk in the doors you see just how much this place has to offer. The space is packed to the brim and then some. Everything that you can think of is under this roof. Just when you think you have gone through it all, turn a corner and discover a new space with more items to sift through. Mind the flow of customer traffic while in here. The aisles are small and cramped, so kind of go with the flow of how other customers are going. Be kind to one another as well, if you are holding up the line move along or at least get as close to what you are looking at to let others pass by. The hardest thing about this spot is not knowing what is actually for sale or the pricing of some items. I did notice that a lot of what is up for grabs here does not seem to have pricing and most times you will ask a price and be told on the spot what the price may be, it sets you up to haggle a bit over the prices. Also, not everything that is displayed on the floor may be up for sale. I had picked up an item, carried it all through the store only to be told when I asked the price that the item is not for purchase and it was going to go online for auction. Really wish that there was a section that was blocked off with such items so you know not to go through them. I didn't want to go online for an auction for the item, so I let it go. Especially since you know that there is going to be research into how much the item could be worth, you will probably end up paying more in the end. All in all this is a decent place to come and find an item from your past that you can add back to your life. Or maybe find something that will be useful to you. Definitely worth the time to come through and try to find that prize.

There's something for every age and gender. She sells things that aren't every day run of the mill and they do a lot to help town and fellow humans. You can send your children in and know that they are greeted and that they can buy something for a reasonable price. My daughter collects the little baby figures that they sell.
