Of course when you tell family and friends that you are doing this they always tell you about different places to try. My dad had kept bringing this place up and I finally caved and made my way here. He had forewarned me that this place looks disheveled from the outside but to not back away. I pulled up and thought that I had to be in the absolute wrong place. I thought I had stumbled upon a hoarders property and that I may be trespassing. Well, I wasn't. It's just that this place has so much stuff in it that it looks like it is spewing outwards. Some people might say that this really is a hoarders paradise because once you are inside it is going to take you a very long time to navigate and look. Everything that you can think of is under this very large roof. It is kind of organized, but I'm not sure what type of organization they were aiming for here. Just when you think that you are done, there's more. I was a bit apprehensive to go into the other part of the building because I thought it was storage. It's not, it's just more items. Lots and lots of furniture, some you will have to climb to see. I could list the type of items you would find in here, but it would be way too long of a list. I mean, if you can think of it, they probably have it somewhere in here. Definitely worth a trip to the area.

Such an odd little place hidden in the Johnstown area. However, I do have to say that there are…read moremore variety stores like this in Johnstown than any other area. This particular one takes up a majority of the space in an old shopping plaza. It is tucked away somewhat in a corner, behind other businesses that face the road. If you are driving on the road, I can almost guarantee that you will not know this is here. This place is kind of set up as a flea market-esque style. Vendors can buy space to display their wares, but do not have to be present for their items to sale. I believe that each section has their own color/marking of identification to alert the cashier as to where the money goes once the sale is completed. Items range all over the place here. The last time I was here there are gently used items to brand new, not out of the package yet items as well. Everything from fresh produce to furniture can be bought within the walls. Just to give you a heads up, this place can be bit of a maze to navigate and you definitely have to come here when you have time to spare. It is not one of those quick stop spots to run in and grab what you need (think of it as a place where you want, but not need items). I cannot remember fully if this place is cash only or not, I want to say not, but that may not be true. One my next visit I will check to be sure. I will also have to check to see what the hours are as well.

It's funny, we came in here to search for a single item and I walked out of here with a completely different item. When I say I wasn't looking for this item, but it found me. Back to that in a minute. This place is a multistory business that will keep you guessing as to what the next stall holds. It's interesting that items from my childhood are now being considered 'antiques.' Well, I guess that is true. I was enamored with the pennant I saw for Forest Zoo. That really brought back memories and I really wanted it. However, I wasn't sure that it was authentic with how pristine it was, and the asking price was a bit outlandish. But the item that found me hit me right out of the blue. It was a Pyrex dish that was exactly like the one I had lost given to me by my Mom. To top it off, it was brand new, in the box, never opened. I had to have it and I took it home that day. This place is definitely a stop you need to make if you are in Ebensburg. They take cash and cards to make your shopping easier.
