i took my car in a few months ago to get it fixed after being rear ended in a car accident. i have progressive insurance in which i was told that all the expenses were going to be taken care of because i was not at fault for the accident. the shop had my car for a while which was okay, i wasn't in any kind of hurry i just wanted my car fixed. i received a call about a month and a half after i dropped my car off from them letting me know that my car was done, it was close to the end of their business hours that day so i decided to pick it up the next day. i picked it up and everything was great. i checked my bank account a few hours later to see a fee of over $100 dollars from the rental car company in which i was renting a car due to working full time and needing a vehicle. i was promised by progressive that this would be covered so i was confused as to why i was getting that charge. i called progressive and they told me that the date that RICHARDS had told them the car was done was 2 days before they told me it was done causing progressive to stop paying for my rental car. i am a 19 year old girl who was in an accident for the first time, works her butt off for the things she has, and was not at fault for the accident i was in yet richards decided to see that and take advantage of it. i called several times about it but was always pushed over. i've never made a review or said anything bad about a place but i genuinely will never use this place for anything ever again and if anyone ever asks me about it my answer will be just this. i hope that they are ashamed for what they did, they know it was wrong. according to progressive the do it all the time. this is a long review but i hope you have taken your time to read this and don't ever trust them with your car needs. read more

Wonderful family owned company. I was beyond stressed having to deal with insurance company, but they took in the job and handled it with perfection and made the experience stress free. I'm fairly new to town so asked some co-workers and people around town where the best place was to take my vehicle and it was overwhelming Richards Paint & Body. After getting my car back I can see why this place is number one in town. Hopefully I will never have another accident, but if I do I know exactly where to take it. Accidents are going to happen unfortunately but when they do I take it to the best shop in town. This place is by far the best work around. Richard is a great guy that'll go out of his way to help you out. I was blown away by the job they did and how fast they did it. Saved my deductible and worked with the insurance company to take some of the burden off of me. Great company that stands behind their work. All around great experience. My son has a way of knocking off his front bumper and getting ran into in Dallas so we were recommended to see Richard and WOW!!! This guy really is a perfectionist. The car has been here twice (2 accidents) and each time it looked better than original. I can't say enough about how happy I am to find Richard's. I used a big name franchise shop in Dallas on my other car and the door is still ajar. I wish I had taken it to Richard. read more

Best shop in town, they have fixed many cars over the years for not only me and my family but for friends and it's always the same with the best work we could ask for. I had the greatest experience at Richards paint and body, despite the reasons my car was up there. The most well known body shop in north Texas, they do great work and it's always on Time or ahead of schedule, they worked their tails off to get my car done so I can get back on the road.
