Not surprisingly, her office is still super clean and organized. It had been a few years since I last visited. She also uses the latest and greatest equipment which even my dentist in Pasadena doesn't have or use. Dr Adina presented me several choices to help me with my sleep apnea (Somnomed, TAP and Panthera). Ended up deciding on the Panthera classic. The device is super light and is the smallest amongst the other companies. Fitting was straight forward as Dr. Adina took digital impressions which was awesome as I didn't have to have my mouth full of plastic trays and impression material. My dental appliance arrived in less than 2 weeks. Will hopefully be able to create a more peaceful environment so that my wife won't have to sleep next to a "raging bear" at night anymore.

After 5 months of struggling I found Dr. Woods as a last ditch effort based on intuition that my underlying issue may be due to a root canal I had done the prior year. Every traditional dentist or doctor I met said my symptoms (chronic nausea, unable to eat, chronic fatigue, achy joints to name a few) couldn't possibly be related to my tooth because everything "looked fine". Dr. Woods made me feel seen and validated in a way that no other dentist or medical professional has, she listened, validated my feelings and said "you know your body better than anyone" so let's take a look. Sure enough after completing a Cone Beam CT scan she validated that the root canaled tooth was in fact infected. I had no pain in the actual tooth, but my body had been fighting a "silent infection" for over a year. She got me a few days later to have the tooth extracted (on a Tuesday) and by Friday of that same week I was able to walk my son around the neighborhood for trick or treating on Halloween. My walking heart rate went from over 130, to under 90 that same week, my blood pressure has stabilized, the daily panic and anxiety has gone away, I've gained over 5 pounds back (from losing 20) and I can eat, play with my son and function again. My body and nervous system still have healing to do after being in a state of chronic illness for an extended period of time, but each day I feel stronger. Dr Haynie performed work on my teeth without my consent and disfigured my smile. I had a minor chip…read morein my top left front tooth and requested that Dr Haynie fill it with resin. Instead, without my consent, he ground that tooth down to eliminate the chip, removing tooth volume and curving my otherwise straight tooth. Without my consent, he then ground my top right front tooth and curved it in a botched attempt to create symmetry. When I told him that I was upset that he did work without my consent and that it looked bad, I expected him to say that he would work with me to make it right. Instead, he told me that he felt threatened and was terminating our doctor-patient relationship. This guy is a nightmare! I've attached a photo showing the unconsented work performed by Dr Haynie on my top two front teeth. The top right front tooth had no issues but Dr Haynie removed significant volume from the interior portion, turning it into a snarl tooth. Looking at the far right edge of the top right front tooth, move left all the way across my top left front tooth and you will have a sense of how much tooth volume Dr Haynie removed from my top left front tooth, also without my consent. Also note that he curved the top left front tooth, giving it an unaesthetic appearance. If you want a dentist to only perform work you consent to or otherwise stand behind the work they perform, do NOT go to Dr Haynie. Also, not every dentist is an artist or has good taste, meaning not every dentist should be performing cosmetic work. Dr Haynie should NOT be performing cosmetic dentistry.

So what is it he needs to approve it, or you wanted to ask him if it was ok to see if I could get more money back?
