Since I'm one of those lucky people who has never had cavities (or really any dental issues to speak of, at least not yet), I'm mostly just here for cleanings. However, I did opt to get retainers and later Invisalign with OB Dental, which was a positive experience. One thing I really like is that the office has evening hours on Tuesdays and Thursdays (until 7pm), which is helpful with a 9-5 work schedule. Also, Dr. Aaron is personable and caring. He always answers my questions thoroughly and makes sure I feel good about the next steps before he moves onto the next patient. This is a family practice, and they're easy to work with and schedule appointments with. My dental health and hygiene have greatly improved in the time that I've been regularly coming here. This dentist office has taken AI to the extreme. I decided to book due to what I believe are inflated online reviews after reviewing low google reviews and Nextdoor. It can take months to book an appointment with this office so when I wanted to make a change to my appointment I called and texted to make the change. Unaware of the lack of customer service and strictly only AI technology use of the office, my appointment was automatically cancelled. Afraid of not having a dental appointment again for months, I went into the office to attempt to speak with a human to ask if they could please not cancel the appointment and please just accommodate the change that I was requesting. Even going into the office, in person, that change was not able to be accommodated. I was told the appointment had already been cancelled. I would have to go back online to reschedule. The problem is...by the time you get back online, will the appointment that was automatically cancelled by AI be available when someone at Harbor Dental could have easily made the change for their customer?? After expressing my frustration with the woman at the front desk, she let me know that this is not the right dental office for me. I agree. I still believe that there should still be a human element involved with a dental practice.
