Everything was fine on paper until the day of the event. At my wedding, my mother-in-law went up to request a song. He flat out, refused and ignored her outright, even though there was planned time for request. Multiple times leading up to my wedding and at the wedding I asked him to play a specific song at a specific point it did not happen. He played the song from the beginning and had one minute 17 seconds of dead space embarrassing.. for the amount of money that he charged I could have gone local and found much better quality and equipment set up and customer service. The only reason why I'm writing the review now more than nine years after the fact is because I used to work with him and did not want any repercussions. If he is still in business, I will not recommend him at all for any venue.

We finally had my event (a birthday celebration) on 8/24 and Eric brought the party! He got everyone on the dance floor- and the party was an absolute hit. Everyone had a blast! He took requests from the guests and did a great job interacting with the crowd. I don't think anyone wanted the party to end, we all had so much fun. I didn't have to worry about anything with Eric. He was so thorough, communicative and easy to work with that I trusted him immediately and he did not disappoint. I would recommend him without hesitation to anyone looking to put on a fun and memorable event. Thank you, Eric!!!

As time went on and we talked with more people, it became apparent that having a DJ was crucial to the timing and success of our wedding, so we began looking. After contacting dozens of DJs, I finally got in touch with Dave Patterson. Over the phone, he was upbeat, interested in the wedding, and straightforward-- he asked a lot of questions to get a picture of exactly what would work for us. We made and appointment to meet in person and at the meeting he was organized, professional and very personable-- just what we were looking for! All I can say is that I feel extraordinarily lucky to have hired Dave. He was reasonably priced (some of the others I had called were absolutely outrageous!) and listened to everything we wanted (no YMCA, Chicken Dance, or Macarena for me, thank you!). He arrived really early to set up and triple check everything and kept the timing going perfectly. He led guests in a few games and kept everyone enthusiastic, happy, and dancing. Several of our guests commented to us later how well he kept everyone on track and got everyone participating-- I would think that a DJ would have to be pretty spectacular to be worth commenting on after all was said and done-- and he was. The music was fabulous and we so much appreciated all his hard work and dedication to making our day perfect! I can highly recommend having Dave at your wedding, or any event really, if you're looking for a fabulous DJ who goes above and beyond. If you have any specific questions, feel free to message me!

He always has new songs to add to his library and will take new requests if he doesn't have something you want. Plus he doesn't play favorites with his singers. If you're a new singer he really works up the crowd to cheer you on, or help you if you're nervous. He sings a few songs of his own too throughout the night so I think it makes people more comfortable with his show. Dave did my friend Victoria's wedding last year too, and he is prob the best dj at a wedding I have seen so far. Worked in a lot of different kinds of music to please the different ages in the crowd. Got a lot of people up to dance, amd overall it was a fun night. I hihly reccomend im as an event dj.

With his experience in DJing large parties and many weddings, Osvaldo was able to guide us through all the details that we hadn't thought of on our own (this meant a lot, as we didn't really know what we were doing). He also went out of his way to meet with us in person and to conduct a thorough walk-through of our venue. During the actual wedding day, Osvaldo helped coordinate and execute all the details seamlessly (including coordinating music with a live musician, throwing in some jokes in Chinese to our guests' delight, and generally keeping the atmosphere energetic and fun). Our guests, and especially our families, had nothing but positive reviews for Osvaldo and his impact on our entire event. He was very professional, very punctual, and paid really close attention to details that were important to us, like how to pronounce our names correctly as we made our "grand entrance" during the reception. For the dancing & music portion of the wedding, we had high expectations because we know Osvaldo has lots of experience DJing large parties, but even so, he surpassed our expectations by far. Beyond adhering to our please-play and please-do-not-play lists, he threw in a few Romanian songs for my husband's family, and somehow managed to make my love for '90s hiphop fit well with my husband's love for euro pop and Journey. One thing that really stood out about working with Osvaldo was his flexibility. We had to make last-minute changes to the plan due to strange and stormy June weather, but Osvaldo was able to bring extra equipment and work flexibly around the new less-than-ideal situation. He did a really outstanding job, and we received a lot of glowing feedback about him from our guests. We highly recommend him.
