Let's face it. None of us want to think about death. And when we do we are often overwhelmed. That's where funeral directors come in. And honestly, in a time of vulnerability an unscrupulous one can take advantage of you.
That isn't going to happen here. No corporate owned sales pitch akin to a timeshare at Richard-Midway. I've buried my father, both my grandfathers, my grandmother, and my great-grandfather here. (Full disclosure: Jeff, the owner, is a friend, and our families have been friends for decades. But that doesn't matter as I've seen how they treat customers outside the family.)
Their work is magnificent. The dignity with which your loved ones are treated is without compare. When my grandmother passed while I was out of town, everything was taken care of until I returned, and the staff at her assisted living facility and our friends who were there when grandma died related to me how well things were handled in my absence.
When you face this difficult time, it is hard enough. Coming here for funeral services eases at least one burden. read more
