Upon entering I was greeted by the general manager who gave me a quick tour and told me all about how our lesson would go. There are several dressing rooms, cubbies to keep belongings while in the lesson, disposable wet bags, and a little play area for kids waiting for their turn for a lesson. The pools are separated into lanes based on a child's class level. The entry way/seating area for parents and the pool is separated by glass so parents can watch with ease while not being in the pool area. My child was in the youngest baby class since this was his first lesson and therefore I was required to get into the pool with him. We had a great time and he had a great first lesson. His teacher was kind and kept things moving on a tight schedule, but there was still time to accomplish everything necessary for the lesson. I was impressed by the scheduling and promptness of the lessons so that kids were in and out on time for the next class. During the lesson my child was taught to put a "balloon" in his mouth (hold his breath) and to blow bubbles in the water. He was taught safe ways to enter and exit the pool. Parents were taught various holds that would allow for their child to explore the water in safe ways. Kids were encouraged to begin learning how to float on their backs, how to get to the wall and hold on, and were taught very introductory swimming, by pushing off from the wall with the help of a parent. After the lesson we were able to get out, rinse out in the shower that's right off the pool (soap dispensers have baby shampoo/wash in them), and then make our way to the dressing room to change. My son loved every minute and we are excited to come back! The pool and pool room were very comfortably warm which made getting into the pool easy. Leaving the pool into the changing area was freezing though. Haha! Overall a great experience and so glad to have a swim school closer to home!

Decent pool. Had to pay a $10 guest fee to get in with the party I went with (they had a…read moremembership). I believe you have to go with someone who has a membership in order to get in, if you don't have one. The food there was pretty cheap but took forever for them to make, waited 15 minutes for cheese fries but seems they only drop one order of fries at a time, not too sure why but... They definitely have a lot of rules, no pool balls in the pool.. Kids have to have chest floats ( just arm floaties aren't allowed). They are cash only, though they have an ATM. Even if no one is in line for the slide or walking to get in line, you can't just walk up from the middle, you have to walk all the way to the bottom of the slide then walk up the path ( which I get so people can't cut in line ) though if no one is walking up to the slide, not sure why it matters but again I get it... Very clean. A good number of life guards on duty. All staff were super friendly.

We have been proud members of Goldfish Swim School - Wexford for around 9 years, and I truly can't…read moresay enough good things about them. All three of my children (ages 4, 7, and 12) take lessons here, and my two youngest started at Goldfish as soon as they were able--at just 4 months old. Goldfish has truly been part of our family for most of their lives. My two oldest are now in Swim Force, their highest level, where they swim the length of the pool instead of the width--a fantastic introduction to swim teams and more advanced swimming. The instructors are wonderful with children and focus on the specific skills each child needs to move up. Class sizes are very manageable, so kids receive meaningful instruction and individual attention. Goldfish has quite literally watched my kids grow up, and I love knowing they are learning important life skills in such a positive, encouraging environment. I highly recommend Goldfish to any family looking for a supportive, high-quality swim program.

The staff and management are very well trained and have dedicated lesson plans specific for each child. The do private lessons for children, special needs, and adults. Both of my children have learned water safety and survival skills. We will always go to Dream Big!

I…read morelearned a few days ago that Spencer Family YMCA is honoring those of us that were paid up at Healthtrax (my membership goes till September). I stopped in today, took a tour of the facility, and joined. The place is a lot smaller than H-Trax, and doesn't have as many amenities, but it is very clean, and the employees are friendly. So far so good. I will write more after I have had a few more workouts ... Cheers!
