This experience raises concerns about the necessity of the treatments he recommended. He's a biller, he's going to have you in as much as possible, and keep you going. And finally his arrogance is unparalleled, I first starting seeing him at a low point in my life, he's talking about his new 5k watch, literally flexing in front of me, and talking about himself saying he could have done anything he wanted in life as a career because of how smart he was. I'd go to literally anyone else.

The wait was 5 minutes. He comes out to get me seats me in the room tells me it is now time for his afternoon coffee and snack and that he will back in alittle bit. Mind you i am like every one else on a time schedule . He comes back with his coffee and snack and sits down. He asked me to explain what was going on (I at that point had been suffering from pneumonia for over two months in and out of the hospital) i started to explain when he cut me off. He asked my weight and height i told him . he then at that point told me the problem was that i was fat and that there was nothing he could do until i cared more about my own health , he told me to cut my calories to about 1000 a day and if i felt hungry it did not matter and to ignore it because i wont die from hunger, I told him the eating was not the problem but all the steriods and evrything else i had been prescribed contributed to my fast weight gain, He said just don't eat all then you wont die from not eating ,he went on to say that prioners of war dont eat for months and they dont die either will I , I then asked him about the recent developed growths in my lung he said dont worry you wont die of lung cancer tomorrow, I at that point was so floored i said nothing back and just wanted to leave . He did no testing and told me again that when i lost the 30 pounds that was making me fat and overweight i can shedule testing to resolve the nodules in my lung and to try to find out why i keep getting pnemonia . i at that point asked him one last question , He walked me out to the front desk and said let schedule the testing in four months that should give you enough time I said no i am all set . He is very driven to improving the lives of his patients and so he takes a strategic and holistic approach, taking into account medical and behavioral aspects. I always know what the plan is. He knows what works and is not afraid to speak hard truths when it comes to self-defeating lifestyles. At the same time he always has a friendly smile and an encouraging word. I left with a 10 minute treatment only on one leg and was told that my veins weren't big enough for injections. Never heard such from 3 other MD I had worked done in the past. Previous doctors used light and magnifying glasses to carefully visualize and treat my spider veins which are most of the time tiny. This doctor didn't do that. I literally got ripped off for 5-6 injections on my right leg. He said he would also work on a spot on my left leg but didn't. 10 minute job for $350?! If you need to get a treatment done don't come here. I wish he would refund half of the treatment I paid for. It is not fair. If he felt like I didn't have enough veins he "recommend" getting treated for $350 then tell me, I'll walk away and you can keep the $50. It didn't seem urgent then but in the evening, after eating something cold, the tooth got much worse. Of course, by then everything was closed but I emailed Reading Endodontics, which my wife had used before, and waited patiently until Monday 8am to talk to them. No need: Monday 8:03am I had a voicemail from Carol at Reading Endo: she had read my email, understood my problem and if I could get there right away they'd be able to take me. By 9am I was on the dentist chair getting X-rays. There's some real professionalism and responsibility and I felt 100% certain I'd made the right choice. Dr Chuang was very thorough, took about an hour and a half to do the work, explained the problem and what the next steps were. His assistant Anne was great, distracting me during the most difficult part which was injecting the anesthetic. The following day Carol called to check up on me! This was really the best possible outcome. Definitely plan on living to 120 without needing a root canal but, if that doesn't pan out, Reading Endodontics, Dr Brian Chuang and the staff there are the next best choice. I'm very grateful for the exceptional service I got there, from the very initial contact to the follow-up.
