Secondly, he was cared for and relieved of his pain and thirdly, a wonderful and smart nurse named Darlene spent an inordinate amount of time with him and allowed him to make the best choices. We are now home, feeling that my husband got the best possible care and can recommend this particular Urology office highly. My husband has been to many doctors of different specialties, is himself a retired physician, and feels immensely relieved and impressed with the excellent care he received.

Having said that, I will also say that I found the staff to be professional and organized during all phases of actual engagement. My experience with Dr. Cannelakis, his office/technical staff and the ReZum prostate procedure was stellar. My self referral experience was spread over a 4 to 5 month period between first appointment and ultimate procedure and was peppered with moments of doubt, due to an insurance glitch and scheduling that reflected a practice experiencing high throughput, with limited resources devoted to soothing patient anxieties, with minimal communications. Having already endured a 2 year saga of disappointment before finding NEUS (the only practice in this part of New England offering cutting edge technological innovation in this sphere of medicine), my patience was tempered by the time I had my experience there.

When finally saw the Dr. Doctor had person in training. She spent most of the time talking with training person. At the the end when she did talk to me, offered no plan to address the shoulder issue. I did receive a shot for pain and told to go to to PT for the fourth time( insurance merry go round). Left with no answers and stunned how lil she seemed to be engaged. Told family and neighbors never go there. Treated like crap from beginning to end. Doctors don't seem to really care to help, period. Seemed like I was a nuisance to them. Just terrible operation, from appointments to actual doctor care(or lack there of).
