Any time I order the "crab" Rangoon....it's literally just straight cream cheese. Zero crab what so ever. Don't advertise something when it's not what you serve. I gave it a chance three times now and it's the same every time. I also have to doctor up my fried rice with more flavor every time I order

Egg drop soup, hot and sour soup, string bean chicken, beef lo mein, general tsos chicken and chicken egg rolls

For $40, this was such a steal!! We ordered four chicken egg rolls, egg drop soup, hot and sour soup, beef lo mein, string bean chicken, and general tso's chicken. Everything was delicious!! Only thing we didn't like was the "fried rice" that came as the side for the entrees. No flavor at all and rice was undercooked. Other than that, everything else was great! The ladies working there were super friendly and made sure our order was correct before handing it to us. The restaurant itself was small, but clean! We will definitely be back!

Rice Express is definitely fast food, as the sign says. It's it the greatest but it's okay and quick. The service on the other hand is subpar.

Have been coming here for a while and haven't had any issues and like to try different things on their menu. Only 'issue' is the spicy dishes aren't really spicy.

I finally made my way back here to try something different on their menu. BIG MISTAKE! If I could give this place zero stars I would. Whoever prepared the food does not know what an appropriate amount of salt in food should be. Everything we ordered (lo mein, Mongolian beef, spring rolls, wonton soup) was extremely salty and overly oily. I ate 10 bites of my food and decided to throw the rest out. It was not edible at all and the only reason I tried to eat it is because I paid for it all :-( My mom got serious heartburn that kept her up all night. I will never return here. This is not right and food should never be prepared this way! Yuck!!! Consumers beware, you've been warned.

Food okay, but dangerous. The chicken broccoli had a 1 1/2 inch long piece of sharp edged stainless steel wire in it that my wife nearly swallowed. Very scary trying to get it out of her throat. We want be ba

Chicken Teriyaki Bowl

Ordered in from Rice Express after an exhausting travel day. I believe there are multiple locations, this being the delivery hub for both (if that makes sense). They use Doordash as their third party delivery service, which I was quite nervous about. Doordash usually takes hours to make deliveries - I waited roughly an hour for my food to arrive. I got the chicken teriyaki bowl with a diet coke. It was fine. Simple, but good. Its a quick way to get a healthy meal but I could've made something similar myself. I appreciate them putting the teriyaki sauce on the side, and for the reusable container. It was a good sized portion as well. The base used is either a brown or a white rice-soy sauce mixture, but I wish it had been just plain white rice. I probably wouldn't go out of my way to order from here again, but I enjoyed my meal regardless!

9/07/24 at 5 pm . Kung pow chicken look good then 3 months ago.

Well I am back and I'll give it one more shot . And this time it was great as usual. I ordered the same things like the last time. My orange chicken was orange and tasted fresh and kung pow chicken tasted like it should . Either the other cook is off or got fire today. To rice express owner keep this cook !! Who work on 9/07/24 at 5 pm. And I'll keep coming here. Yes I try other like taste of Asia and Panda Express. And I don't like their orange chicken. Nor other menu items they have . I been since this one open.

Yeah the food, not great. Maybe if it was fresh? Maybe not. I paid $25 for some shit my 16 year old sister could have made. SMH.

I love this place. I always end up getting the sweet and sour chicken with an egg roll. Their sweet and sour sauce is so good.

Loved it all. Kept seeing the long lines of traffic there and knew it had to be good. And of course it didn't disappoint

With that being said, I like to believe I have a good palate for Chinese food. If you're coming here expecting authentic Chinese food, you won't necessarily be disappointed but just know that your expectations also may not be met. However, if you're looking for upscale Chinese American food then Teddy Wongs is certainly the place to go. I came here on two different occasions - one for a friend's birthday and another for a date. In short, both were great. Both times did require reservations or at least strongly implied so. I did see one couple that seemed to have gotten turned away on a busy night, so just keep that in mind. Additionally, parking may be a bit of an issue as other reviews have noted. However, if you plan accordingly and park at a nearby lot where it's past hours and marked, then it's not an issue. That's at least how it was for me in both instances. Now, when you walk in, the space is more of a dimly lit environment. Perfect for celebrations or date nights (at least from my two visits). With reservations, we were quickly seated. I will say that we were seated quite close to another table during the date so for smaller parties, you may get to know your neighbors. Both servers in the visits were phenomenal - knowledgeable with the menu, friendly with interaction, and quick overall. Could not ask for better! Having been here twice, especially for the birthday, I'd say that I got to try a good amount of their most popular items. In terms of the dumplings, what stood out to me were the pork and crab soup dumplings, spicey wok-fired har gow, and the truffle pork soup dumplings. An appetizer that I will say was a standout was the cucumber salad. It has a good amount of spice that is well complimented by the cold temperature of the dish with a satisfying crunch. Perfect palate cleanser, especially before the dishes that come ahead. For mains, the spicy cilantro cod was a standout with just the right amount of heat. Of course, you have to get the peking duck. It comes in half or whole options. During both occasions, in parties of four and two, we got the half and it was enough. Sure, it wasn't necessarily the quality that you'd get in Beijing but it's certainly up there for a Chinese American restaurant. For dessert, we got the chocolate dumplings. It's exactly what you would imagine... melty rich chocolate contained within a dumpling wrapper. If you've ever had Din Tai Fung then it's more or less that. Lastly, in terms of drinks, I did get the Lucky Emperor at one visit. It's sweet, crisp, and tart. Great drink that I believe complimented the meal! Overall, I do recommend Teddy Wongs. The food is good but the atmosphere, vibes, and service are what really make this a worthwhile visit.
