Finally a business that SURPASSES my expectations. I dropped by the shop for an estimate, which is very clean and organized, and was instantly confident that I had come to the right place. You can tell these folks really know their business and enjoy what they do. Ricardo didn't just repair my damaged leather driver's seat, he used a stronger, higher grade of leather and padding than the original, and it matched the rest of the leather perfectly- right down to the stitching. Fantastic work. read more

I stopped by to get a quote on reupholstering my 1993 Mazda RX-7's seats. While pulling into the lot, I saw Ricardo's Mazda REPU and I knew immediately I was at the right place. I met Ricardo, his brother and his son. We talked about Mazda rotaries and cool cars for a while. It was refreshing to meet people who are so passionate about their work and cars in general. Ricardo and his son came in early the next morning and knocked out my car's seats. I was absolutely blown away when I received a call the next afternoon informing me my seats were done. Upon arriving to pick the seats up, I was in awe. They are gorgeous and after sitting in the seats I was astonished... How could a set of 30+ year old seats feel so incredible?! Ricardo, you have a customer for life. I have another RX-7 project car and will definitely be bringing all my upholstery work here. Thanks again! The seats in the photo are not bolted in because I'm still waiting on my seat belts to arrive... I just couldn't wait to test out the seats! read more

Came here and was quoted 5 times for the same exact work Nachos upholstery in North Hollywood does. I was disappointed to find out Ricardo's outsources his work, hence the reason for the high price. A grand experience! I needed the original headliner and armrest cover replaced in my 2006 Honda. I called many places but found Ricardo's the closest and actually the best price . The work was done over 6 hours. My car was returned to me very clean and it almost looked brand new considering the original 16 year old upholstery ( I take very good care of my car) . Ricardo treats women very well, while there I observed him interacting with two other ladies, we were treated with respect and I believe charged a fair and honest price for the work we requested. I will return to Ricardo for whatever upholstery service I require . I'm working on building a booster seat for my dog that I will take to Ricardo for upholstery to match my car's interior.... Very positive and great work! read more

I recently had the seat on my truck repaired. They did an excellent job. It was done in only a couple of hours.

Wonderful owner, but a $600 estimate for my crew cab headliner is just way too high. I ended up using Nacho's in North Hollywood and got the same work done PLUS my visors reupholstered all for $350! Shop around. The SF valley always has better prices. read more

I meet with Ricardo personally to redo the seat for my Honda Forza. He spent a lot of time with me to find out exactly what I was looking for and quoted me a fair price. I was shocked how fast he got my seat done. I dropped it off on a Friday evening and got it back the very next day! The seat is perfect and exactly what I was looking for. It looks stock but totally isn't. He even used red stitching to match my bike. I'm very happy with his work and I wouldn't hesitate recommending him to anybody in need. A+++ read more

Been searching hi and low on the web for a motorcycle seat for my bike. Finally after a couples years i decided to flip through the search bar and find out if someone could re-upholster it. A new or used seat I was looking at 200-600 dollars. I found Ricardo's and brought it in. He gave me a quote which I though was a little high so he immediately came down to what I wanted to pay. Regardless of the amount here is where it all made the difference. As soon as I showed up he treated me like he knew me for years! His customer service was second to none! Customer service doesn't exist anymore and it's a big deal to me. I was actually taken back a bit on how I was treated by not only him but his son...meaning I haven't received that kind of attention and kindness from a business in decades! He's the other reasons why I felt good about what I paid. The quality of craftsmanship was impeccable! The seat not only looked brand new but the stitch made it stronger and looked better than factory! Not to mention he did it in a couple of hours! Quality! Craftsmanship! Customer service! All above and beyond the rest. So glad I found this shop! read more

I took my sons car to Ricardo's to get a new headliner installed. Ricardo did an amazing job and it looked perfect. Fast and efficient service. Upon picking up the car, I mentioned I was going to take the car to the car wash for detailing. He said they do detailing and do a very thorough job. I said let's do it. My son picked up his car and couldn't believe it. The 13 year old car looked brand new. I highly recommend Ricardo's! A+ service and quality work! read more

Ricardo is terrific! Stopped by for an estimate to have my front seats cleaned. He took his time (away from a job he was in the middle of) to explain to me the best way to go about what I needed. No up-sell, in fact, he gave me a temporary fix until I could come back for the more involved work to be completed. I'll be back. Great guy! read more

Ricardo and his son were so friendly and amazing. Great customer service. They did an amazing job. Nightly recommend.

All I needed was a MIMIMUM estimate to repair a small section of the front of my headliner (I know a little bit about the process, having done it before). In other words, regardless of how little effort is required, what is the minimum charge for any headliner re-glue. He said he couldn't tell me unless I drove the 20 miles to his shop and told me to fix it myself. Maybe he was having a bad day. read more

I took my motorcycle to Ricardo's, first thing in the morning on a weekday. He was ready to work on the seat in order to shave it so I could get more foot on the ground (tall bike). The shop was clean and was in a nice location near my place, and Ricardo seemed to definitely know his stuff. Bonus, he had worked on motorcycle seats before. Ricardo expertly removed the staples and hand-shaved the foam with a rasp, which was a pretty labor intensive job requiring a good eye for symmetry. He got the most foam off the seat without leaving it bare, and did a fantastic job. He also re-covered the seat perfectly using the original material, with no binding or wrinkling. I'm super happy with it. The price was reasonable too. If I had tried this myself I probably would have mangled the seat and had to buy a used seat on eBay--much more cost and aggravation. Get your seat done right the first time, especially if you're a short rider on a tall bike. Oh, Ricardo only takes cash, so bring some. read more

They repaired my 03 Ford Escape interior door liner while I waited. Quick friendly service and fair price. Highly recommended.

Brought my 2011 Lexus in for seat upholstery as they were cracking along the perforations (probably not the greatest design). Ricardo did the job in the day, the "synthetic leather" was a perfect match that he had to drive to DTLA to get, and the seats now look perfect. His son detailed the car, and now the whole car looks brand new. Excellent job. Not the cheapest, but I believe in this case, you get what you pay for, and the last thing one needs is a poor job on seats or the paint finish. read more
